Hi! My name is Mariyah, a friendly and dedicated Maths tutor currently on my gap year after completing my A-levels. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in both GCSE Maths and 11+ preparation. Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC. These subjects have strengthened my critical thinking skills, making me have a deeper appreciation for how much we use these subjects every day. Having done the exams, I understand the struggles the students face and how to support them.

Hi, I’m Reina Rose, an enthusiastic and dedicated Math teacher with over seven years of experience teaching students from primary to secondary levels, including SAT and GCSE learners. I’m passionate about helping students explore mathematics through interactive lessons, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance that build understanding and confidence. My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to suit each learner’s style. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading articles on modern science, which keeps me curious and informed, and I love watching YouTube videos on quick math-solving tricks that I often share with my students to make learning both fun and efficient. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Science, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and logical reasoning—skills I bring into every math lesson I teach. I am also TEFL certified, which has enhanced my communication skills and ability to teach students from diverse backgrounds, both online and in person. My academic background and continuous teacher training have equipped me to create engaging, visual, and supportive lessons that make complex math concepts simple, practical, and enjoyable for all learners.

I am a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching, tutoring and helping students get the highest grades they possibly can. I have been teaching for over 5 years working with a wide background of students from 11+ and GCSE students to SEN students. I study Medicine at Aston university and was a former student at the Latymer Grammar School in Edmonton.
