Hi, I'm Kudzai, a 5th year medical student with an interest in the sciences, economics and languages. I have attended Invicta and Maidstone Grammar school for girls, achieving 10 7-9s at GCSE. I am currently in my 5th year of medical school, after completing my A levels ( Biology, Chemistry and Economics) and so I am well acquainted with the different exam techniques, system and exam boards!

Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I’ve been tutoring since 2020, and I’ve delivered over 400 online lessons through platforms like MyTutor and private tutoring. I specialise in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, with a strong focus on building subject understanding, exam technique, and academic confidence. I’ve supported students with a wide range of needs and abilities and helped many achieve significant improvements in their grades.

I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. I use assessments to track progress and plug gaps in their knowledge. My passion is to create successful learners who are able to achieve and exceed the goals they set for themselves. At A-Level, I studied Sociology (Grade A), Psychology (Grade B) and ICT (Grade C) at Southwark College. I then completed my BSc in Sociology and Criminology at City University, achieving a 2:1. I also have a PGCE in Upper Primary which I completed at Goldsmiths College. Additionally, I have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Learning and Development.

Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a second-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding so they’re fully prepared to tackle any challenges they face in exams. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and relevant, so I work to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether it’s helping with exam preparation or simply tackling tricky topics, my aim is to support students in developing critical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading and keeping fit, which help me maintain balance and stay motivated. I’m excited to share my enthusiasm for learning and help you achieve your goals — whether that’s improving your grades, boosting your confidence, or just enjoying the learning process more! I received my early education at three different primary schools, which provided me with a strong academic foundation. I then completed my GCSEs at a college and pursued A-levels at a community school. I am now a second-year medical student at the University of Nottingham.
