I am a final year Dental Student with numerous and continuous patient experience. I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and coach young people in sports such as Netball & Basketball; building skills that allowed them to thrive in competitions and develop not only as athletes but also as compassionate individuals. I am part of many societies at my university which has afforded me the chance to gain a sense of responsibility whilst organizing events and has improved my networking and team-working and abilities; including motivating my colleagues. I have previously worked as a tutor before in Maths and English and wish to further develop my skills and experience as a tutor I attened Sir Henry Floyd Grammar school for my secondary school education; studying Biology, Chemistry, Psychology & Maths Statistics at A level. Hi, I’m John Audry, an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher! I have over two years of teaching under my belt, and I have always loved helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning mathematics easy and exciting for everyone through interactive activities and stimulating problem-solving sessions that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. Also, I make sure to give real-world applications of the abstract theories in mathematics to make it feel more relatable. In my free time, I enjoy working and designing machines and engines, which has developed my attention to detail, and has helped me stay sharp, focused, and analytical. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I gained a robust foundation in mathematical theories, scientific concepts, and their real-world applications. My studies equipped me with the knowledge to provide you with excellent mathematics education, and the skills to work with other people with diverse backgrounds. I use these traits to create engaging lessons, address different learning styles, and cultivate a supportive learning environment that will give every student the opportunity to excel.

I've always enjoyed maths, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Economics and Finance. I adore the logical reasoning underlying these courses and enjoy applying them to real-world situations, particularly in physics. I believe that with the appropriate direction and technique, anyone can thrive in these areas. My teaching technique is based on recognising each student's unique needs and learning style, which helps to make the content more relatable and interesting. By rigorously adhering to the specification and marking schemes, I ensure that students understand exactly what is required to succeed. I am kind, sympathetic, and dedicated to helping students gain confidence through clear explanations and constant practice. My goal is not only to assist students improve their grades, but to make them love the learning process and feel confident in their talents. With a 1st Class degree in Economics and Finance, I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills. My career includes extensive experience in calculating risk for North American Commercial Real Estate, where I specialised in loan underwriting and corporate expansion as well as underwriting in the digital payments world for EU and British companies.
