Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. I like to teach in a fun and relaxed environment focusing on giving assignments each week to confirm understanding of the session. I also go through past exam questions as part of my tutoring session to start preparing students to answer questions in a certain manner from day one so they can utilize the maximum number of marks. I hold an MPharm degree with Upper Second Class Honours from Kingston University, where my research on nanoparticle formulation was published and accepted by the American Association of Scientists. I subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy with Healthcare and Leadership at the University of Exeter, achieving a Distinction, and a Postgraduate qualification in Technical Services and Quality Assurance at the University of Manchester, also with Distinction. Most recently, I completed an Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Leicester, specialising in the management of adult asthma. My academic training has provided a strong foundation across clinical pharmacy, prescribing practice, quality assurance, leadership, and pharmaceutical services
