My name is Santosh Gopalan, an I am a graduate from the University of Surrey with an Honours degree in Economics. As a friendly and approachable tutor, I am passionate bout helping students not just understand maths, but genuinely enjoy it. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can excel - my goal is to build confidence alongside competence, ensuring my students are equipped to achieve the top grades. I have studied GCSE Maths and achieved grade 8. I have also studied A-Level Maths and achieved grade A. I have extensive knowledge of the AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR exam boards for both GCSE and A-Level maths. I am a graduate from the University of Surrey that has an Honor's degree in Economics.

I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

All the resources I use are made by myself for each students particular needs and I always aim for students to achieve top grades. I am available to tutor all the subjects in my profile to GCSE level I also tutor Geography HL, English Literature SL and Mathematics A&I SL at IB level I completed 11 different GCSE subjects in the year 2020 and moved on to complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in my time at 6th form (the IB is an equivalent of A-Levels but with 6 subjects instead of 3).
