Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). Hi, I’m Lucas! I tutor GCSE Maths, Spanish, English Language & Literature, as well as A-Level English Language. I have four years experience in tutoring, mentoring, and supporting students with university admissions also. I love helping students build confidence, think critically, and connect big ideas to practical problem-solving. Outside of teaching, in my free time I love cold water swimming, running in run clubs, and going to the cinema. I graduated from UCL with First Class Honours in Arts & Sciences, specialising in environmental economics and policy. I achieved 4 A*s at A Level (English Language, Maths, Chemistry, and Photography) and top GCSE results with seven 9s and four 8s.
