My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I studied a range of subjects including History, Spanish, French, English literature, Physics and Maths.

My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am a dedicated and motivated individual with a strong passion for helping students progress and reach their full potential. Outside of tutoring, I love doing henna art, reading crime thriller books, and spending quality time in social activities with family and friends. Building on strong academic performance, I am currently pursuing my studies with a globally recognised professional accounting body. Alongside my education, I have achieved several qualifications and gained 2 years of diverse training and practical experience in my field.
