Hi, my name is Sanjhu, and I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and feel more confident in themselves. I understand that studying can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I’m a patient and supportive tutor specialising IGCSE Edexel English Language and Chemistry. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, simple steps to help students build confidence and understanding. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals, whether improving grades or preparing for exams. I achieved A* grades on average in my IGCSEs, demonstrating a strong academic foundation across the sciences. During my studies at the University of Al-Jamea-Tus-Saifiyah, I regularly supported peers and younger students with their learning, helping them better understand key concepts and prepare for exams. My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Combining this with practice paper questions from the start of teaching guarantees success. I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues.
