Hi my name is Mathew, I'm a 20 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. From secondary school I have always been involved in helping fellow students understand topics in Maths and Science and would always be seated with someone during lessons so that I can help them. This way I have assisted 2 of my closest friends achieve high grades in maths and science during our GCSE's. I love teaching because it enables me to pass on knowledge and little tips and tricks I learnt whilst studying which will not only enable my students to understand topics better but also pass on this information to their peers. I'm really patient and can explain topics to students as many times as they need. I like to break things down and approach difficult questions and problems via simplified routes which enables students to build up their understanding from the basics of the subject. Outside of teaching I enjoy being active and playing sports, especially cricket and badminton. I also love cars and love learning about how things work. Majority of my secondary school education was at Thomas Becket Catholic school. Here was where I was first introduced into teaching by my maths teacher who would make me sit with people that struggled with the subject so I can help them. I went on to study My A-levels at Northampton School for Boys. I currently study Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia in Bulgaria.

I'm Ben and have an MSci and BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Chemistry. I have always loved learning about the sciences as they are so applicable to the world around us. I believe that every student should have positive learning experiences in the sciences. I have over two years' experience in tutoring A-Level/GCSE Maths and Science. Furthermore, I have achieved an A* grade in every A-Level subject and a grade 9 in every GCSE subject that I offer. I have invaluable knowledge of exam board specifications, how to best prepare for upcoming examinations, and how to secure those top grades. I’m also a keen reader and lifelong learner, with a love for books on psychology, inclusive education, and modern fiction. To stay active, I enjoy yoga and long walks, which help me recharge and stay mindful, and I’m always up for trying new creative outlets, whether that’s experimenting with photography, cooking dishes from around the world, or learning a new skill just for fun. Music is another big part of my life; I love discovering new artists and curating playlists for different moods and adventures. Hi! I am a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in Biology A-level/ GCSE, and Chemistry GCSE. I achieved A* AA in these subjects at A level and have experience tutoring students within school. I studied AQA exam boards for Biology and Chemistry, and Edexcel for Maths. My sessions will focus on building confidence and understanding by using past exam questions as examples to highlight key concepts and how to approach them during exams. During the sessions, we will work through topics that you may struggle on together and practice with exam-style questions so you’re fully prepared. The topics we cover will be completely led by you, so that you get the most out of our time together. I am flexible in my teaching style, so if you learn better other ways, for example mind maps, I am more than happy to do this.
