I am a 27 year old teacher currently residing in South Africa. My passion has always been teaching and learning. I love to read as well as explore nature. The ocean is my go to place, I feel at peace looking at nature. I love the colours purple and blue and consider myself a chocoholic. I have matriculated at Ferndale Combined School in Durban, South Africa in the year 2016. I have obtained my bachelor’s degree in intermediate and senior phase at the University of South Africa (Unisa). My specialisation subjects are English, Natural Sciences and Life Orientation (Physical Education).

Hi, I’m Amay I am currently an Accounting & Finance Undergraduate student Having a vast range of direct past experience both in tutoring and working with children, I am comfortable in such environments and am passionate about the teaching I do I like to make lessons enjoyable so that my students are always thoroughly engaged by using a variety of techniques to cater learning towards each individual student, I am very enthusiastic at this prospect and leveraging my subject knowledge and past experience to improve student's learning experience and helping them achieve to the best of their ability. Hi, I’m Jolene, a passionate and dedicated math teacher! I teach Algebra, Geometry, and General Mathematics, and I love helping students discover that math can be both understandable and enjoyable. With three years of teaching experience, I focus on student-centered learning, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and meaningful. My goal is not only to help students master concepts but also to build their confidence and critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy mobile games, movies, and visiting relaxing places that inspire me to recharge and continue growing as an educator. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I built a strong foundation in math, teaching methods, and classroom management. My training prepared me to create engaging lessons, adapt to different learning styles, and build a positive environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.

I'm a fun and active individual that likes sports and other physical activities. Just started my second year in my degree apprenticeship in data science with Airbus UK and some of my favourite hobbies include: Basketball, Cricket, movies, travelling and gaming. Attended Broughton Fields primary school when I first moved to the UK in 2011, and then went on to complete my GCSEs and A levels at Oakgrove Secondary School in Milton Keynes. Achieving high grades in both GCSEs and A levels, having done IT, Business and Mathematics in A levels.
