Hi! I’m Almar, a dedicated educator passionate about teaching English and Science I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each student’s needs. In English, I help students build strong communication skills with creative and practical activities. In Science, I simplify complex concepts to make them exciting and easy to understand. My goal is to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. I graduated from Holy Cross of Davao College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, major in English. I have over 8 years of teaching experience, working with both children and adults in classroom and online settings. My experience includes junior high school teaching, face-to-face classes, and working with various ESL companies. I combine clear instruction, creativity, and practical activities to make English and Science engaging and easy to understand.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

I'm Ahsan, a first-year Accounting and Finance student at Queen Mary University of London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics and I genuinely love helping students get to grips with topics that feel confusing at first. I’m a passionate Systems Application Engineer and full-stack developer with a background in Electrical Engineering and over three years of experience building software solutions. I enjoy helping students understand Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and programming concepts in a simple and practical way. Whether it’s algebra, calculus, physics, Python, Java, C++, or web development, I focus on breaking down difficult topics into easy-to-understand lessons. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning pace, helping them build confidence while improving their problem-solving skills. I believe learning should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable, while ensuring students develop a strong understanding of the concepts behind the work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, electronics, programming, and problem-solving. Throughout my studies, I worked on technical and software development projects that strengthened my analytical thinking and practical application skills. In addition to my academic background, I have over three years of experience in full-stack software development and systems application engineering. I have worked with technologies such as Python, Java, C++, Flask, databases, and web development frameworks to build real-world applications and systems. My experience also includes mentoring and assisting students with Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and programming-related subjects, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
