I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. I have lived all over the world, love traveling and exploring and look forward to learning how we can incorporate your personal experiences and passions into your studies. Hi! I'm Tom, 22 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.

I help students turn ‘I can’t do it’ into ‘I actually enjoy this!’ — by building confidence through patience, positivity, and creative teaching. I specialise in Maths and 11+ preparation, supporting students of all abilities to feel calm, capable, and motivated. My background as a learning support assistant taught me how to break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps — especially for learners who struggle with confidence or anxiety around maths. I use interactive methods, games, and real-life examples to keep lessons fun and memorable. Above all, I believe progress starts with encouragement, and I aim to create lessons where students feel supported, proud of their effort, and inspired to keep improving. I studied Psychology at university, where I developed a strong understanding of how students learn and how confidence impacts performance. My studies helped me recognise that progress isn’t just about intelligence — it’s about mindset and approach. Before that, I achieved three A-Levels and gained hands-on experience working in schools as a learning support assistant, supporting students across maths, English, and general study skills. I’m now planning to continue my studies in Marketing and Business Management, combining my interest in psychology and communication with a passion for helping others grow and reach their potential. This mix of academic study and practical classroom experience has shaped my calm, supportive teaching style, helping me identify learning gaps quickly and adapt lessons to each student’s needs.

Hi, im Lucas! I am a 22 years old and was born and raised in Manchester. I am currently in the 3rd year of studying medicine and really enjoy it! I have always been a science and history nerd since i was a kid, so it is no surprise that those are my favourite topics. My hobbies include studying history, calisthenics, poetry, travelling, and language learning. For secondary school, i went to North Chadderton school in Greater Manchester where i received 2 nines, 5 eights, two sevens, and a five (in Spanish). I also went to sixth form at North Chadderton, where i studied biology, chemistry, and physics, receiving 2 A's and B respectively.
