Hi there! I'm final year medical student looking to do some tutoring in maths GCSE, UCAT and interview technique. One thing I love about medicine is its breadth - I get to study a wide range of subjects from anatomy and biochemistry to sociology and ethics. Being interested in what I learn gave me a love of learning and I truly believe that having fun while studying is the way to get high grades. With this in mind, I would love to help students improve in their studies by helping them get stuck in to learning through creative and interesting avenues like drawings, mind maps, music and so much more. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics.
