I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.

Hello there! Hope you are well. My name is Joshua Hailey and my pronouns are he/him. I have been an online tutor for over three years, and I hope this 'About Me' section gives you an insight into who I am and my teaching style. I am an English Literature BA (Hons) graduate who studied at the University of Portsmouth. In September 2024 I am undertaking a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Literature from the University of Leicester. With over three years tutoring experience, a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, I have challenged and supported students across all educational stages, including primary school pupils right up to A Level students! My name is Jason. I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and motivated and understand that every student faces challenges in their own way, so I always try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves further. Tutoring has taught me not only how to guide others academically but also how to encourage resilience and independent thinking. Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.
