I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

With a lot of experience in teaching the subjects mentioned in the upper section, I now enjoy adding some tips and games to the sessions!

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Whether I'm doing cryptic crosswords or sudokus, I believe that challenging your brain is the most entertaining activity. I am currently attending Newcastle University studying Accounting and Finance. I completed my A-levels at King Edward VI School in Morpeth, where I achieved ABB. I completed my GCSEs at The Blyth Academy, where I achieved 5 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 2 grade 7s.
