I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand current exam specifications, common pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and exam technique. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their independence, motivation, and long-term love for learning. I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL), a highly academic and research-led medical school. I attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. My academic journey has equipped me with excellent organisation, resilience, and communication skills, which I bring into my tutoring by delivering clear explanations, structured lessons, and tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

Lower level - Maths and Science Secondary level - Maths and Science GCSE - Science and Biology Exam board experience - I have been tutoring students aiming for GCSE, AQA, N4, N5, SATS and grammar school exams. SEND experience - I have tutored students with SEND for three years which included students with Dyslexia, dyscalculia, AD I am a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a BSC Hons in Biomedical Science with Second class upper. I have completed my ALs in Biology Stream including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my GCE OL including Science, Maths, IT, English, and Business Studies.

Hello! I am a postgraduate researcher in Biotechnology with a strong academic foundation that includes a BSc, Honours degree, and an MSc currently in its final stages. From early in my academic journey, I developed a passion not only for scientific inquiry but also for teaching and knowledge-sharing. My long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to academia as a lecturer and researcher, and tutoring has been a natural and fulfilling part of that path. As a tutor, I bring a patient, structured, and empathetic approach to learning. I understand that students come from diverse backgrounds and often face anxiety, self-doubt, or gaps in foundational knowledge — challenges I help them navigate with clarity and confidence. I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than memorization, empowering students to think critically and apply scientific principles independently. My experience includes online tutoring, academic writing support, and guiding students through complex biological concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging. I value consistency, clear communication, and adaptability, tailoring my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs. Above all, I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel capable, respected, and motivated to reach their academic potential. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with majors in Microbiology and Biochemistry, completed in 2020. I later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnology in 2022, which strengthened my foundation in applied biotechnology, laboratory research, and scientific analysis. I am currently completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology, with research-based training in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific writing. In addition, I obtained a Tutor Training Certificate from the University of Johannesburg during my tutoring tenure (2024–2025), where I tutored Microbiology, gaining formal training in effective teaching, student support, and academic facilitation.
