Hello! I am a dual Australian-British national and a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degree. Having lived in four different countries, I understand the unique challenges and experiences of international students - something I bring into my tutoring approach with empathy and flexibility. In April, I had the rewarding opportunity to volunteer abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German and Italian students learning it as a second language. This experience deepened my understanding of ESL (English as a Second Language) learning needs, so if you're an ESL student, I can support you in building both fluency and confidence in your written and spoken English. At GCSE level, I completed eight subjects, including a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 8 in English Literature, reflecting my strong foundation in the subject I now teach.

I'm deeply passionate about this field because it beautifully combines creativity, problem-solving, and real-world applications to shape the world around us. Hi my name is Gabriel. I am a 28 year old 11+ tutor. I love helping students prepare for their 11+ entrance exams. I have a degree in English from Rhodes University. I have a passion for teaching and for helping others grow. I have experience with helping students prepare for the GL Assessment 11+ test as well as others such as the Sutton Boys 11+ test. In 2018 I enrolled in a Bachelor of the Arts at Rhodes University in my home country of South Africa. Rhodes University has the best Humanities Faculty and the best English Department in the country and so it was a natural choice for me as I intended to study English Literature. I completed my triple major Bachelor's in English Literature, History and Philosophy in 2020.

I am currently in my final year studying medicine. I’m a dedicated tutor committed to making learning approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique style. As a student myself, I understand how challenging learning can feel so my goal is to make learning easier and help students feel more prepared and motivated. I completed my GCSEs at Bourne Grammar School, achieving excellent results that reflected my dedication to academic success. After that, I went on to complete my A-levels at The King's (The Cathedral) School.
