Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. Through my studies, I’ve developed strong skills in biology, Maths, and effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning.

I am an online science tutor with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Subjects I teach : Lower level: Biology, Chemistry, 11+, Physics, and Math. GCSE: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, and Math. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting and guiding students through GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level studies across education boards, including AQA, SQA, OCR, Edexcel, and WJEC. My approach combines tailored strategies to help each student build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their academic goals. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, delivered in a warm and friendly learning environment. I make extensive use of charts and diagrams, and I break down complex topics into their simplest, most understandable form. I hold a First school leaving, an A-level certificate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy( B.Pharm ). In addition, I have earned a TEFL/TESOL certificate and a digital marketing and e-commerce certificate through an online course. Currently, I am further enhancing my skills by undertaking a Data Analyst course.

For about 6 years and about 4000 hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for Gcse and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL), which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. Having had a firsthand experience of the struggles these subjects can give and then steadily turning my grades around, I combine actual study content with relevant past papers, quizzes, and tips that have always brought a tremendous boost in my students grades very quickly.
