I am currently a student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I passed A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with an A,B,B respectively. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball and practicing my violin and piano. I've also participated many workshops to do with communication which has increased my public speaking and collaboration skills. For secondary school I attended King Edwards VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys. I left with 11 GCSE's with an 8 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and a 7 in English Literature and Language, French and Business. For Sixth Form I attended the University of Birmingham School for 2 years. I left with an A,B,B in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science respectively.

With over four years of experience tutoring maths and science, I’ve developed a structured and results-driven approach that helps students build confidence and master exam technique. As an MPharm graduate currently completing my hospital training year, I bring a strong foundation in clinical reasoning and scientific analysis to my sessions. My tutoring style focuses on consolidating knowledge through exam-style questions, allowing students to apply concepts in realistic scenarios. I begin by clarifying core principles, then guide learners through targeted practice using past papers and timed exercises. This method not only improves accuracy but also fosters resilience and reflective thinking—skills essential for academic success. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and progress is tracked. Tutoring has become a rewarding extension of my clinical work, allowing me to share my passion for science while helping others achieve their goals. I began my academic journey at John Ruskin College, where I completed A levels in Chemistry and Biology, alongside GCSEs in English and Maths. I also earned a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science and was awarded the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh for altruism. I’ve since graduated with an MPharm degree from the University of East Anglia and am currently completing my hospital training year as a trainee pharmacist. This clinical experience has strengthened my analytical thinking and deepened my understanding of scientific principles—skills I bring into every tutoring session. My approach centres on consolidating knowledge through exam-style questions, helping students apply concepts confidently and accurately. I create a supportive environment that encourages reflection, resilience, and progress. Tutoring allows me to share my passion for science while helping learners achieve their academic goals.

I am confident in my abilities to teach subjects such as Maths and Physics to the age groups of primary up until GSCE level, having experience with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel. Languages: I can speak conversational Bengali and fluent English. I obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours at the undergraduate level, and look forward to studying a postgraduate course in MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering with Energy at the University of Birmingham. Things I like to do in my spare time include training regularly at the gym because I am a massive fan of fitness, and I have a guilty pleasure of watching anime shows (which are NOT cartoons :D ) and watching Formula 1. And a weird thing about me is that I go by another name (Nahid) which my friends and family call me, but you can be my friend also so you call me what you find easy to remember :) I received a Grade B in Chemistry, C in Maths and C in Physics at A-Level, which allowed me to be accepted onto a course I really enjoyed in Chemical Engineering BEng at Aston University. At GCSE, Maths and Science were my favourite subjects and I achieved Grade A's for both of these subjects and a Grade B in Further Maths.

Hello ! I'm Sadie, 19 and currently completing an undergraduate degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response in Manchester. I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping others build confidence in their academic abilities. I completed my secondary education in 2025, where I focused on Geography, Religious Studies and Chemistry, and have continued to develop my knowledge and passion for geography through my university course. I have experience supporting younger students with exam preparation, having taken part in a peer coaching scheme for 2 years whilst at school. Through this, I have learned the importance of patience, structure and encouragement in helping students succeed. It also taught me how best to adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs and aim to create a supportive learning environment. In my free time I enjoy reading, travelling and hiking, especially since moving to Manchester where I am now right on the doorstep of the beautiful peak district ! I look forward to helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence in their studies. In 2023, I completed 10 GCSEs at the Cotswold School, Bourton on the Water. These include English Language and Literature (both grade 6), mathematics (grade 8), Biology (grade 7), chemistry (grade 8), physics (grade 9) and geography (grade 9). I then continued my education with the Cotswold School Sixth Form, completing an AS level in Mathematics in 2024, and 3 A levels in Geography (A), Religious Studies (A) and Chemistry (B) in 2025. I am now in the Process of completing an undergraduate degree in MSC International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response with the University of Manchester, with a predicted graduation in 2028.
