With extensive experience teaching a wide range of subjects, I have developed interdisciplinary methods that make learning both enjoyable and relevant. I’m Avalon! I’m 22 years old, I’ve recently graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. I’m currently doing my PhD in Computational Chemistry (also at Cardiff University). My teaching style is very methodical but still aims to pass on my enthusiasm for my subject. 1st class BSc in Chemistry with a Placement year abroad: 2021-2025. Currently doing a PhD in Computational Chemistry: 2025-2029. A-levels Maths (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (B): 2019-2021. GCSEs achieved grades 7-9 in Maths, English and all three sciences.

Hello! My name is Mark and I’m a graduate from Northumbria University with a 1st class Physics BSc with honours. I like to focus my sessions on the areas of a subject that you struggle with the most, starting from the beginning and building a strong understanding that you can use in the classroom and your exams. My sessions are pupil-led, where I am there to provide guidance, direction, examples and support. I love physics, especially the topics of space and energy, and I think that a passionate teacher can make even the most difficult subjects more approachable. I have experience tutoring, helping local pupils with their physics over COVID lock-downs. I look forward to meeting you! I have graduated from Northumbria University Newcastle with a First Class Bachelors with Honours in Physics.
