I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Hello! I am a doctoral student in English Literature at the University of Lincoln, having completed my BA at Lincoln in 2019, and having completed my teacher training (PGCE) at the University of Hull. After this, I then began tutoring whilst I completed my MA in English Literature, graduating in 2022. I write both fiction and non-fiction work in my private life, being published online and in print, and I hope that I can share my love of the subject with you. I am also published in media studies and literary theory by a variety of academic publishers, most recently Palgrave, and have several more chapters due for publication in the next 18 months. I teach English, both literature and language, to GCSE and A Level students - primarily within the AQA specification, although I also have familiarity with Edexcel. Though less common, I am also comfortable tutoring undergraduate English Literature. My tutoring is therefore best suited to students aged 11 and up. I went to secondary school in a small town without a huge track record of academic success, and so I know the kind of circumstances that people might be dealing with in pursuing their education at that level. After completing secondary school, I finished A Levels in English Literature, French, and Physics, before completing my BA in English in 2019. I then completed a PGCE in teaching English at the University of Hull in 2021, and completed an MA in English Literature at the University of Lincoln in 2022. I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Lincoln, studying depictions of psychosis in Gothic Literature.

There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I also rather love technology, and love using technology to learn and help others learn. Furthermore, I like talking to different people and I'm a good listener. I have acquired a level 5 TEFL qualification, certified by Qualifi. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. My Masters requires me to complete an original dissertation to be able to qualify and the findings of my dissertation are going to be published in a local journal later this year.

SEND experience - I have tutored students with SEND for three years which included students with Dyslexia, dyscalculia, AD I am a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a BSC Hons in Biomedical Science with Second class upper. I have completed my ALs in Biology Stream including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my GCE OL including Science, Maths, IT, English, and Business Studies.
