Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests, English language (specifically), and Geography. I can cover KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level (Biology and Chemistry) content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I am extremely enthusiastic about medicine, as the human body is one of my most profound fascinations, and I believe I can convey my enthusiasm for education through my lessons. In sixth form, I was a peer mentor and often had to help students struggling with their subjects, and so I have attained a plethora of knowledge on efficient methods to overcome revision and learning issues; furthermore, I am quite an active and independent learner and have trialled many different studying techniques in the past. Therefore, I can tailor my lessons to the tutee’s preferences, e.g., usage of more diagrams for visual learners and more verbal explanations for aural learners. I have the most experience tutoring mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, english, EPQ, UCAT/BMAT, school admission tests and reviewing personal statements for a variety of students at different levels, including KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-level and university level.

I’m an enthusiastic individual, that is keen on teaching children, of all ages, up until A-level. I have many different hobbies, such as playing sports and cooking different recipes, which is something I carry out in my free time. I’m also multilingual, as I can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently. I also have experience of teaching, as I ran my own personal tuition for primary school children, now moving unto secondary school, for English, which is something that I am carrying out now. I’m looking forward to teaching Primary school children, for both Maths and English, as well as English Language and English Literature for GCSE students, and in teaching Finance to A-level students. I have successfully achieved a grade 8 for English Literature, as well as a grade 6 for English language. In addition, I studied Finance as one of my A-level subjects and achieved an A*. I just completed my university degree in Accounting and Finance this year. I enjoy teaching a lot, and it’s something that I’ve always been passionate about, from a young age. I currently also work in a primary school alongside my studies which I recently completed, by doing 1-1 with SEN children, assisting them with their learning.
