Hello! I’m Ayan, a medical student with a genuine love for learning and helping others succeed. I’ve been tutoring since 2022, and over that time, I’ve had the chance to work with students from all kinds of backgrounds and learning styles. I specialize in Biology, Maths, Physics, and Science, and I teach students at the following levels: Primary Lower (KS1) Primary Higher (KS2) Secondary Lower (KS3) Secondary Higher (KS4-5) This allows me to work with students from their early years through to advanced secondary education, supporting them with foundational skills or more challenging material. I focus on creating lessons tailored to each student’s level and learning style, ensuring that concepts are both understandable and engaging. My background as a medical student has strengthened my knowledge of the sciences and given me experience in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and structured learning. I bring these skills into my tutoring sessions to help students not only prepare for exams but also develop a deep understanding of the subjects they are studying. I am a 27 year old teacher currently residing in South Africa. My passion has always been teaching and learning. I love to read as well as explore nature. The ocean is my go to place, I feel at peace looking at nature. I love the colours purple and blue and consider myself a chocoholic. I have matriculated at Ferndale Combined School in Durban, South Africa in the year 2016. I have obtained my bachelor’s degree in intermediate and senior phase at the University of South Africa (Unisa). My specialisation subjects are English, Natural Sciences and Life Orientation (Physical Education).

I am patient, friendly and love to support students to help them get the best out of their education and boost their confidence. Below is a list of the subjects and age groups that I tutor. I have experience of exam boards AQA, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas, Edexcel and Cambridge International Exams. ENGLISH LANGUAGE I enjoy tutoring English to students in Primary and Secondary school age groups and have plenty of experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level English Language. I have successfully helped many pupils with their SATS tests, 11+, entrance exams, GCSE and A-Level exams. ENGLISH LITERATURE I tutor English Literature up to Higher Level and have plenty of experience of tutoring GCSE English Literature with GoStudent. I've also worked with iGCSE and IB level students. I’d be especially happy to help with 19th century literature at Higher Level, as I studied a Year 3 19th century literature module for my BA (Hons). HISTORY I've tutored pupils studying history at Primary, Secondary and GCSE level and enjoy helping students doing various historical topics with different exam boards. CLASSICAL CIVILISATIONS I am happy to tutor students taking the OCR GCSE Ancient History and OCR A-Level in Classical Civilisations ART HISTORY I would love to help students of Art History of all age ranges up to Higher Level. I’m a firm believer in the outlook of the Art History in Schools charity that advises teaching Art History from the age of five. Lessons in Art History can help students of other subjects like history, art, architecture, and photography. For those considering going on to learn Art History at University, it is useful to have taster lessons. HUMANITIES Part of my BA (Hons) degree involved studying Humanities modules and I would be happy to tutor students of Humanities up to Higher level. HERITAGE, MUSEUM STUDIES, TOURISM AND TRAVEL Due to my experience with my MA in Heritage Management and working for the National Trust, I am happy to assist anyone studying heritage, tourism and travel courses to Higher Level. My hobbies include creative writing and I enjoy helping other writers, including young adults, by critiquing their creative writing. I have been nominated for a Writing.com Quill Award for being a top reviewer. I write non-fiction about literature and history, for example, my latest book entitled 'Jane Austen’s Easter' and an article in the Brontë Studies journal. I volunteer at a local library to give literary talks and read at children’s events. I enjoy watercolour painting, baking, sewing and crafting, watching historical and fantasy films, visiting historic sites and gardens, and walking with my dog. I have a lifelong love of learning about literature, history and the arts. I have eight GCSEs: English- A*, English Literature- A*, Psychology- A*,Geography- A*, British Social and Economic History- A, Biology- A, French- A, Mathematics- B. For my A-Levels in Classical Civilisations, English Literature and Art History I gained A* grades. I achieved a First for my BA Hons in Humanities with a specialism in Art History with the Open University, which included taking a 3rd Year module in English Literature. I gained a Distinction for my MA in Heritage Management studied with the University of Birmingham, and was nominated to be the Class Representative for the course. I have been a tutor with GoStudent since 2022. I lecture on literary heritage topics at the University of Chester. I have also given lectures on my historical research at the University of Alberta and the University of Shrewsbury. Working for the National Trust, I interest young people of different ages with history and art history, and mentor work experience students and Duke of Edinburgh students. I volunteer in a local Primary School and library.

Hi! I’m a dental student who has a deep love for reading and continuous learning. I find joy in expanding my knowledge and sharing what I have learned with others, as I believe in the power of education and teaching to inspire and empower individuals. So here I am, offering tutoring in A-level Biology and GCSE Maths. A-Levels: Chemistry (A*), Further Maths AS (A), Maths (A) and Biology (A). GCSE’s: 7 9’s, 2 8’s and a 7. I’ve partaken in Maths Olympiads and gained a full scholarship to take a 5-day Clinical Skills and Medical Research Course with Biograd Education.
