Hi, I’m Jade Flynn, a friendly and passionate Math and English teacher. I love helping students learn with confidence and enjoy. I make my lessons fun and easy to understand by using real-life examples, activities, and clear explanations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and turning simple moments into learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. My training helped me learn how to teach clearly, manage my class well, and adjust my lessons to different learning styles. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, and ready to succeed.

I am a first-year university student studying Computer Science, with a strong academic foundation in both mathematics and computing. I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science, and I have hands-on experience supporting and teaching students within a primary school setting, helping them build confidence and understanding. I successfully completed the 11 Plus examination in Year 6, which reflected my strong academic ability from an early age, particularly in English and Mathematics. I then went on to attend Bartley Green Secondary School, where I studied a wide range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Triple Science, Religious Education, Geography, French, and Computer Science. Studying such a broad curriculum helped me become well-rounded and develop important skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and clear communication. After secondary school, I attended King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, where I studied A-Levels in Mathematics, Law, and Computer Science. These subjects allowed me to strengthen my logical thinking and analytical skills. Mathematics deepened my confidence in tackling complex problems, Law improved my ability to form structured arguments, and Computer Science further developed my technical knowledge and passion for computing. Overall, my educational journey has been consistent, focused, and driven by a genuine interest in analytical and technical subjects.

Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now! I love animals, board games and books, and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for my subjects. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts.
