Hello! I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham with a passion for learning and helping others. When I'm not immersed in my studies, I enjoy dancing and playing badminton to stay active and refreshed. I'm excited about the opportunity to tutor and share my knowledge, aiming to make complex subjects more understandable and enjoyable for my students. I completed my A-levels at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School, where I studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, achieving grades of A*, A*, and A respectively. Additionally, I completed an AS-Level in Further Maths, earning an A grade. Currently, I am a student at the University of Birmingham, entering my third year of studying Chemical Engineering. Hi I am Mary Jo and I love teaching! I have been tutoring 6th to 12th graders for many years, as well as adults, both in English and in Spanish. I enjoy the connection that is developed from teaching and sharing lessons, working on project works and exams. The challenge of helping a student realize their full potential, participate actively in the learning process and finally achieve top results, is one of the best experiences for me. Hi! My name is Abidah. I am currently a first year Computer Science student in University. I have achieved A*A*A* in A Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology and grade 9s in the above subjects for GCSEs. As a tutor with over 2 years of tutoring experience, I have learnt strategies to support students according to their needs. This includes using a range of resources to help the student. Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. I then went on to study Spanish and French at the university of Stirling. After spending time teaching English in France and Spain, I did my PGCE training in Liverpool. I am also currently completing my TEFL certification at the moment. Other qualifications from my time at school include the Duke of Edinburgh awards.

I am someone who loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to cultures and languages, so much so that during lockdown I taught myself Turkish. I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish and French) and have completed my year abroad.

Currently studying Chemistry at the University of York, I love mixing science with creativity.
