Hi there my name is Dan and I am looking to help people when it comes to learning English and History. I am 30 years old and I have a wide breadth of experience from a career that has spanned multiple roles in a variety of sectors from teaching assistant and one-to-one tutoring, all the way to construction and freelance journalism. Hello, I’m George, a qualified and experienced Science teacher specialising in Biology. I began teaching in a secondary school and sixth form in 2020 and have more than 2000 hours of teaching experience and have taught hundreds of students across KS3, GCSE, and A-level, helping them achieve real progress and confidence in their science studies. My passion for teaching began during a volunteer placement in Ghana in 2016, where I taught English and helped coach local sports teams, seeing first-hand the transformative power of education. My primary role was teaching English to students, but given that I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and level 1 qualified rugby coach, I also helped to introduce organised sport in the school and also coached local men's rugby team, the Dansoman Hurricanes.

Hello, I am an experienced Biology teacher. I teach to students of IGCSE, GCSE, Grade 9-12, O level, A level, MCAT, UCAT, NEET and any other Biology lessons. I am student friendly, work on to improve their confidence and overcome weak points using several interesting methods. I have done my Masters in Microbiology and Biotechnology and then PhD from India and postdoctoral studies from Ohio State University, USA. Later I have been engaged in teaching students of Biology at different advanced levels as well as preparing them for Medical entrance tests (MCAT/ UCAT/ BMT) GCSE, SAT subject tests and NEET-UG (Medical entrance test at India) and many other equivalent competitive exams and preparing for Grade 9-12 board exams as well.

Second year physics student at Lancaster university. Active in the Doctor Who society, though not knowledgeable enough to take part in the whoniversity challenge. Also the proud owner of several plants which are surviving surprisingly well; and I always seem to have a couple of creative projects on the go. Currently in my second year studying physics at Lancaster University. I sat AQA A-level Physics in June 2023 and also did A-level edexcel courses in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, achieving As in Physics and Maths. In 2022 I did a 10 week course of helping year 5s complete experiments and teaching them about the scientific method; as well as completing an externally-marked, independent research project.

I am enthusiastic, positive and patient. I have a love for English Literature, and all the joys of reading, creativity and story telling which comes with it. Currently, I am immersed in my course at The University of Edinburgh, as I go into my third year. I have previously studied History of Art, History, Art and Theatre studies - which all allow for a different perspective on the world of Literature.
