I am a 3rd year biomedical engineering student at University College London. I come from an international background and I have been tutoring my whole life, since age 14 and pride myself on making sure that the way I teach is enjoyable and engaging. I love to chat with people so getting to know my student and what they enjoy is very important as a part of teaching. My hobbies are triathlon and goint to the gym. I also follow football very closely. I went to the English School of Kyrenia in the TRNC. It is an international school and therefore I did IGCSEs and International A Levels. I did my A Levels in Maths, Physics and Biology and achieved an A grade in all three as well as 8s and 9s in all of my IGCSEs. While at school I spent free time tutoring younger years. I now attend University College London and am in my third year of Biomedical Engineering. I have been tutoring 2 family friends aged 16 for their IGCSEs and I tutored my younger brother A Level Physics and Maths while balancing my university degree. My degree has a perfect balance of Maths, Physics, and Biology, making me feel confident that my knowledge is up to date and constantly developing, allowing me to tutor the subjects to a high level. Currently doing the subjects I tutor at a university level has allowed me to understand concepts on a deeper, core level and allow me to teach them at a fundamental level, rather than just memorisation.

Having been tutoring online over three years now with experience of both groups and individual tutoring sessions, I have gained hundreds of lessons of experience helping me become a more effective tutor. I have tutored both A level and GCSE level maths and physics, as well as A level psychology, GCSE geography and some KS3 sciences and maths. In lessons I like to use active recall throughout to ensure that students are absorbing the material. A typical session will start with a few questions to assess a student's initial understanding of a topic. We then go through the content - focusing only on areas where they need support - before finishing with some exam-style questions to consolidate their learning My speciality is AQA for most subjects, the main exception to that is A level maths in which I did OCR. I have just finished a masters in mental health research, after my undergraduate in natural sciences (specialising in physics and psychology). This followed my A levels in which I achieved A*'s in maths, psychology, physics, and geography. What makes me a great tutor is that I am patient by nature and I understand the situation you are in, this means I will always make sure you understand what you are required to know, and ensure I find a way of tutoring that best suits you, whether that be by doing numerous exam questions to ensure knowledge or by gaining understanding through analogies to sports. Hi! I'm a first-year Accounting and Finance student at the University of Warwick, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level Computer Science and Maths. I achieved an A* in A-Level Computer Science and an A in Maths, so I've recently sat the exams your child is preparing for and know how the papers are marked. I work through past questions and worked examples built around the topics a student finds hardest, rather than moving through a syllabus at a fixed pace.
