My background is in psychology, which I find incredibly fascinating, and I can tutor students up to degree level in it. I'm also happy to help with other subjects too! I graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours degree, reflecting my strong grasp of psychological theories and research methods. While I found all areas of psychology compelling, I specialised in Business Psychology, focusing on the dynamics of human behaviour in the workplace. I pursued postgraduate studies in Occupational and Organisational Psychology. This equipped me with specialised knowledge and skills in areas such as employee selection, performance management, organisational development, and workplace well-being.

Grâce à mes contributions remarquables aux programmes, j'ai eu l'occasion de participer au tournage d'une vidéo qui en faisait la promotion. Ayant moi-même appris le français, je comprends bien les défis liés à dû apprendre le français et donc, je connais les défis associés à l'apprentissage d'une langue étrangère. In Canada I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, with a Major in Outdoor Leadership. I worked in this field for a few years, but eventually found myself drawn to the business and financial side of things in the organization that I worked for. In the future, I would like to pursue education and work in business and finance. My favorite hobby is being active in the outdoors. I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, and almost anything else that gets me outside and being active. I also love to relax with a good book on a quite day or evening. My other qualifications are not particularly connected to tutoring. I am certified to teach a number of adventure activities. I am a Top Rope Climbing instructor, certified by the ACMG, I am a level 1 Mountain Bike instructor, certified with PMBIA, OCC Hiking Field Leader, and I also took an 80 wilderness first aid course. These things give a bit of a picture about what I am interested in, and what I have pursued learning about or teaching in my life. Tutoring is new to me, but I do have a lot of experience with teaching and instructing in an outdoor context. I think I can easily apply my outdoor instruction and facilitation skills, to tutoring.

My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. Hello! Dia dhuit! Hola! Is mise Anysia. My name is Anysia and I am from the wild west of Ireland, a place called Galway. My mother tongue is Irish and also speak English, some French and Spanish. I have a big family of 6 and lots of animals. I have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys and geese. I play sport in my spare time and am a part of a soccer team, a gaelic football team and a camogie team. I also have a passion for art, I love to paint and draw. I'm a positive and happy person with a passion to share my knowledge. For years I taught Irish in an Irish College in Galway, you may have heard of it - Colaiste Lurgan. We have become very popular over the years by translating, creating and preforming popular english songs (but making them much better) and recording them in Irish. Take a look on YouTube - TG Lurgan - you might be able to spot me in a few videos! I was an Irish teacher by day and a kayaking instructor by evening. My house was a 'bean an ti' house which means every three weeks during the summer months, we had 14-16 new students living with us. Everyone attended the college and had fun all the while learning and practicing our native language.

Whether we acknowledge it or not, maths and science are all around us in many obvious and invisible ways from how your wifi sends and receives data to how planes can fly. I chose engineering because it allows me to put my knowledge of maths and science to practical use in being able to create something in the real world. Everything man-made you can think of is the product of engineering. Because of this, knowledge is power, and with the right knowledge and tools, anyone can design anything. I aim to inspire students by making learning enjoyable, through a process that is at the student's pace - no pressure - and showing real-life applications in a topic to both prove its usefulness and to hopefully spark an interest in the subject. I will make sure that the student actually understands a topic so that they can not only answer standard exam questions easily but so that they can also use their solid knowledge of the topic to answer unfamiliar, "tricky" exam questions. Truly understanding a subject or topic in combination with a real interest in it can stick with someone for a lifetime. Being able to truly learn something happens when someone wants to, not because they have to. I also love music. I like to sing and play the guitar and piano.
