I studied in Singapore for secondary and high school, so I am familiar with the British O level and A level syllabi, which are used in Singapore with minor variations. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions.
