Hi, I'm Chidi, 22 and tutoring English and Music! I've always enjoyed meeting new people, and helping others out with things I'm good at, so tutoring is just the perfect role. I'd say I'm pretty relaxed, confident, but kind and understanding. I like to take it easy and honestly can't remember the last time I had a temper. I crack myself up, but my friends would beg to differ. A pity chuckle here and there is enough to boost my ego. Preferred student age groups: Both A-level and GCSE students About me: Hi there! my name is Joe and I currently studying for a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Sussex. Before joining the Sussex I obtained my masters degree in chemistry from the University of York graduating with first-class honours. I particularly enjoy spending time in the lab, with my work being focused on developing new chemical reactions. Outside of the lab, you can usually find me strategising over the chess board, exploring worlds in the latest video games or stopping my cats from causing chaos! As a tutor, I hope to make chemistry more accessible and hopefully enjoyable for students! Typically, my lessons consist of explaining concepts to students that they have been struggling with, followed by crucial problem-solving and exam practice to build confidence. Following each session/ topic, you can expect homework/ exam questions, which I will mark and provide crucial regular feedback. I have recently completed my master's research project at the University of York and will be graduating with a First-Class Honours degree this July. I am excited to be continuing to study chemistry, undertaking a PhD in organic synthesis this September. Hi there, My name is V and I am currently a full-time science teacher at a secondary school along with being a part-time student at the University of Cambridge. I did my teacher training at the University of Cambridge and my Undergate degree at the University of Southampton in BSc Biomedical Sciences. I am a Maths GCSE tutor who has just finished A-levels and am going to the University of Manchester for Engineering. In addition to maths, I have completed my A-levels in Biology and Chemistry and so have the capacity to teach both. I have finished my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Exeter University. In my spare time I like to help pupils with their studies, spend my time at a gym class or go for a walk. I also love to read, especially horror books, or play on my Nintendo switch. My favourite part of maths is pure, such as Algebra and trigonometry, but I love all maths!
