I graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and teach Maths to students of all ages up to A level. I achieved A*A*A* at A level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, reflecting the strong academic foundation I bring to my teaching. With my students, I ensure that their understanding of underlying methods is to the highest possible standard through rigorous practice. In my experience as a student, exposing yourself to different mathematical scenarios builds a great foundation for achieving the best possible grades. My biggest aim for my students is for them to constantly improve so that when they get to the exam, they are confident about any aspect of the syllabus that may arise. For my sessions, I will ask students what they wish to study and ensure I tailor the session around what I am told. If the student is undecided, I will plan lessons around pushing the student to challenge themselves in rigorous practice, with my guidance, around different mathematical concepts in their curriculum. For exams, my main aim is for students to achieve the best grades possible, meeting and exceeding their targets. My highest level of education is an MSci in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, I achieved A*A*A* in A-level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring students in Mathematics across a range of ages and abilities, up to A level. Through this experience, I have developed a strong ability to explain difficult concepts clearly, adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, and build both confidence and exam technique. My focus is always on ensuring students fully understand the methods they are using, so they can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence and achieve the best grades possible.

Hello! Dia dhuit! Hola! Is mise Anysia. My name is Anysia and I am from the wild west of Ireland, a place called Galway. My mother tongue is Irish and also speak English, some French and Spanish. I have a big family of 6 and lots of animals. I have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys and geese. I play sport in my spare time and am a part of a soccer team, a gaelic football team and a camogie team. I also have a passion for art, I love to paint and draw. I'm a positive and happy person with a passion to share my knowledge. For years I taught Irish in an Irish College in Galway, you may have heard of it - Colaiste Lurgan. We have become very popular over the years by translating, creating and preforming popular english songs (but making them much better) and recording them in Irish. Take a look on YouTube - TG Lurgan - you might be able to spot me in a few videos! I was an Irish teacher by day and a kayaking instructor by evening. My house was a 'bean an ti' house which means every three weeks during the summer months, we had 14-16 new students living with us. Everyone attended the college and had fun all the while learning and practicing our native language.

Hi there! I'm final year medical student looking to do some tutoring in maths GCSE, UCAT and interview technique. One thing I love about medicine is its breadth - I get to study a wide range of subjects from anatomy and biochemistry to sociology and ethics. Being interested in what I learn gave me a love of learning and I truly believe that having fun while studying is the way to get high grades. With this in mind, I would love to help students improve in their studies by helping them get stuck in to learning through creative and interesting avenues like drawings, mind maps, music and so much more. Grade 7 Violin, Grade 8 Piano, Grade 5 theory, A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. BSc in Medicine from the University of St Andrews (2023), working towards MBChB in Medicine from the University of Manchester (2026). Interests in paediatrics and working with children.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, and I’ve completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Over the years, I’ve supported students preparing for college entrance exams as well as international assessments like IELTS and TOEFL. Working with learners from diverse backgrounds has taught me that every student has a unique story — and I take pride in finding strategies that help each one succeed in their own way. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. I love sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when students discover what they’re truly capable of. In my classes, I make learning interactive and meaningful by incorporating multimedia resources such as songs, short videos, and infographics. I break complex skills into manageable steps, gradually building students’ confidence and independence. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading and traveling. These experiences give me fresh perspectives and real-world insights that I bring back into my lessons, making them more relevant and engaging. I’m excited about the opportunity to inspire, guide, and empower more learners to achieve their goals and become confident users of the English language. I look forward to connecting with you! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in English, which provided me with a strong foundation in linguistics, literature, curriculum design, and assessment. My graduate studies strengthened my understanding of language acquisition theories, research-based instructional strategies, academic writing instruction, and assessment design. This advanced training has allowed me to approach teaching with both practical experience and scholarly insight. I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years, working with students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English to Grades 7 to 10, guiding students through critical stages of their academic and personal development.
