Hi I am Albert! I am currently studying for a Master degree in Health Economics at the University of York. I obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics, also from the University of York. My best piece of work was my dissertation on medical technology and spending growth in the United States. I proved that TPF is an accurate appropriator of technical progress and concluded that every month, more than $1,000,000,000 is spent on improving medical technology in the USA to help patients! My postgraduate research focuses on the cost-effectiveness and expected value of sampling information with regards Low-Level-Laser Therapy in the treatment of oral mucositis from Head and Neck Cancers. I completed an internship with Hammond Partners London, where I successfully found and linked up talented individuals with roles at hedge funds!

I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth
