Hi, my name is David Adebanjo and I am a third-year, going on my master's next year, studying mechanical engineering at the University of Leicester. I play American Football for the Leicester Longhorns and in my free time, I enjoy going to the gym or reading. I am very enthusiastic about being able to spread knowledge to others.

I am currently an undergraduate student which makes me familiar with the new GCSE and A level examination system, giving me the advantage of guiding my students through this process. I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I can teach GCSE maths. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. I have a very creative method of teaching and like to include games and make it fun and stimulating. I have a lot of experience working with children on the spectrum and ADHD so can manage meltdowns and difficulties in learning. Teaching styles will be catered towards their way of learning (eg visual, oral, kinetic). I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-level. I then went on to study Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. I have about 10 years experience in tutoring.
