Hi everyone ! I'm Ridhi and I am a first year geography student at the University of Warwick. I completed A levels in Biology, Economics and Maths and achieved grades of all As. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth

As a Chemical Engineering student, my academic journey is rooted in the fundamentals of sciences and mathematics. I developed a great foundation in sciences by studying double science, mathematics and other subjects for GCSEs and biology, chemistry and mathematics for A-levels. This lead to paving the path for my pursuit in higher education. During my A-levels, I loved sciences more and I always found it intriguing.
