Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester studying maternal and fetal health. At secondary school I always enjoyed learning about Science and Maths, so after my GCSEs I decided to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Following this, I went to the University of Manchester to study Biomedical Sciences. Here I spent three years learning about various aspects of Biology such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. From my lectures I began to grow an interest in maternal and fetal health, which I pursued by completing my master's in reproduction and pregnancy. As well as increasing my knowledge about biology I also learnt laboratory skills and how to conduct experiments. I am now doing my PhD whilst also teaching undergraduate biology students at the university. Outside of academia I also enjoy going to dance classes, hiking and baking.

Hello, I am currently a masters degree student in applied aquatic biology at the University of Portsmouth. I have experience with AQA GCSE biology and Eduqas A level biology exam boards. I am fluent in English. I have grown up tutoring my younger sister and disabled brother who suffers with brain damage and epilepsy so have some experience with disabilities. Hey! My name is Maria and I am 24 years old. I am currently studying Dietetics at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I have grown up trilingual, speaking Italian, German and Ladin at home with family and friends. Ladin is a very uncommon language, only 40,000 people speak it. Moreover, I speak English fluently and learned Russian for 5 years (B1 level). After finishing high school I went to Australia for 7 months. I worked and travelled along the southern and eastern coasts. I have worked as a teacher for a couple of months a few years ago, with a special focus on children with learning difficulties.
