Hi, my name is Rebecca, I am a second year medical student in UL. I previously studied science in UCD, where I graduated with a major in physiology, minor in Japanese, genetics and microbiology. I'm from Wexford and love going home every few weeks to see my family and my dogs. Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester studying maternal and fetal health. At secondary school I always enjoyed learning about Science and Maths, so after my GCSEs I decided to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Following this, I went to the University of Manchester to study Biomedical Sciences. Here I spent three years learning about various aspects of Biology such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. From my lectures I began to grow an interest in maternal and fetal health, which I pursued by completing my master's in reproduction and pregnancy. As well as increasing my knowledge about biology I also learnt laboratory skills and how to conduct experiments. I am now doing my PhD whilst also teaching undergraduate biology students at the university. Outside of academia I also enjoy going to dance classes, hiking and baking.

Hello, I am currently a masters degree student in applied aquatic biology at the University of Portsmouth. I have experience with AQA GCSE biology and Eduqas A level biology exam boards.
