I'm 19 years old. I'm a student at University. Lower level : all subjects in primary school, English, Maths and Science. Secondary : Maths and Biology, Chemistry, physics GCSE : Foundation Maths (AQA, OCR, Edexcel ), Biology or Chemistry (Edexcel, double/combined) and Religious Education Preferred age group : Year1 to Year 10, In my spare time I play Badminton and do Dance. I like to do photography and make scrapbooks. I have been tutoring for 3 to 4 years with the ages of Year 1 to Year11.

I have been a tutor since early 2020, when I started this career choice alongside working in the NHS as a mature student nurse at the University of Sheffield. I later went on to make this my full-time career, and in this time have worked with over 300 students, both long term and short term, of all different ages. I have worked both through agencies, and privately, with most of my students being referred through word of mouth. I work primarily with children in Year 5 and 6 in maths, and also children who are preparing for their Grammar School 11+ exam. However, I cover maths, English and science up to Year 8 level, 11+ exam preparation, English as a second language (for adults and children), and home schooling for primary school children. I am a member of MENSA, and I have achieved this because I work very routinely and am able to break things down into step-by-step techniques. These techniques are passed on through my tutoring, especially in maths, and I have had great feedback and results from this. I am very passionate about my career, as I love to educate others, and I believe it is so important to be a good role model and inspiration to young people, to drive them towards wanting to achieving their goals in life. My background is in healthcare, where I studied at the University of Sheffield (Adult Nursing BMedSci). I have also studied Diagnostic Radiography (BSc) at Sheffield Hallam University. I have an Access to Higher Education certificate in Health Sciences where I gained a qualification which included A-Level standard Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and AS-Level Physics.

I have been tutoring for more than 5 years, i currently have graduated from University with a degree within Public Health going on to do my masters. I tutor kids from different places within the world, currently tutoring English, Maths and science along with my specialised subjects. I retake tests to ensure i am comfortable with the changes within education and aware of what resource i need to teach my GCSE students. Hello, I am Felecia Rowe a University graduate from the University of Technology with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Science with forensic chemistry.
