I am someone who loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to cultures and languages, so much so that during lockdown I taught myself Turkish. I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish and French) and have completed my year abroad.

I’m an Oxford Chemistry student who has achieved top grades in Chemistry and Maths. I love helping students build confidence and improve their results. I have experience supporting GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on making tricky concepts clear and approachable. My lessons are patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs so they can reach their full potential. Studying a Chemistry degree at the Univeristy of Oxford has helped me develop a strong academic foundation and deep subject knowledge in both Chemistry and Mathematics. I studied A-levels, achieving A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Before that, I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Sciences and Mathematics alongside other subjects. My education has strengthened my problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and effectively.

I recently received my masters degree in chemistry from Imperial College London and I am eager to aid the next generation of learners through this role. I knowingly adapt each lesson to best suit the students so they feel like they get the most out of our time together.

Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. Hi I'm Katie. In my free time I like to be with my friends, as well as social events within university, such as out chem eng society! Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a masters student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering. I have a strong passion for both chemistry and maths and i believe these supply the fundamentals for understanding how the world works and can be applied to any real life concept or problem.
