Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices. I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. During my A Level studies, I obtained 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. It would be a pleasure to pass on both my knowledge and work ethic to my students, enabling them to achieve their full potential. During my GCSE studies at a grammar school, I obtained Grade 9 in 8 subjects, including Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I also obtained Grade 8 in 3 subjects, including English Literature and Language. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I went to study 6 subjects in sixth form at Dartford grammar, (rather than the typical 3 A levels). I then completed a degree in biomedical sciences (1st class dissertation), then went straight into my Masters. I am now in my final year of my masters studying to be a Physician Associate!

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.
