Hello to you all. I have been teaching English and History to many different people at all levels for many years. I am hugely passionate about making sure the teaching and studying is fun. English is one of the most important subjects there is. I have a passion for helping people improve and get better at both reading and writing. History is one of the basics for so many subjects. It also helps students to develop great skills for the future. I am here to help in all aspects of English ( entry up to GCSE) and History (entry up to A level). Come along and discover how enjoyable it can be. I am an avid rugby fan. I played for many years. I have traveled all over the world. Visited every continent bar Antarctica. Reading is something I do every day: mostly history books! Cooking has now become a passion. I studied at a great school in Hayes in Kent. Came out with 8 "O" Levels and 3 "A" Levels. Then I went to Hampshire University and did a BA in Russian and European History 2.1. After university I had a few careers and then found the job I loved and did for many years. I lectured around the world on English and History. I taught many different courses and to many different age groups. I really love conveying my passion for English and History.

HISTORY I've tutored pupils studying history at Primary, Secondary and GCSE level. CLASSICAL CIVILISATIONS I am happy to tutor students taking the OCR GCSE and A-Level in Classical Civilisations ART HISTORY I would love to help students of Art History of all age ranges up to Higher Level. I’m a firm believer in the outlook of the Art History in Schools charity that advises teaching Art History from the age of five. Lessons in Art History can help students of other subjects like history, art, architecture, and photography. For those considering going on to learn Art History at University, it is useful to have taster lessons. HUMANITIES Part of my BA (Hons) degree involved studying Humanities modules and I would be happy to tutor students of Humanities up to Higher level. HERITAGE, MUSEUM STUDIES, TOURISM AND TRAVEL Due to my experience with my MA in Heritage Management and working for the National Trust, I am happy to assist anyone studying heritage, tourism and travel courses to Higher Level. My hobbies include creative writing and I enjoy helping other writers, including young adults, by critiquing their creative writing.
