Hi! My name is Tom, I'm a 23 year old History graduate with a passion for teaching and assisting others by utilising my extensive knowledge of various periods of history and historical topics. During my studies I have focused on topics such as medicine, American expansionism, British Politics (18thC, 19thC, 20thC and 21stC), Soviet Russia, China and many many more! I am sure that whatever is needed of me, I'll be able to assist to the best of my abilities! I have dual nationality with both USA and UK passports thanks to my English mother. When I was much younger I gained 5 "O" levels and 1 "A" level while living in Taunton, England. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.

I had always dreamed of becoming a doctor as a child but had difficulties in transitioning to the Science classes in my secondary education.
