My name is Rebecca and I am from South Wales, United Kingdom. I have experienced living in different places around the UK and I lived in London for several years, which was an amazing experience to meet people from international countries and learn many things about their culture and interests too. I enjoy cooking at home, as formally I have trained on the job as a professional chef, mainly in seafood/fish restaurants and Japanese cuisine. Also, I like going for a walk down the coastline and taking in the scenic views, photography and sometimes video gaming when the time arises. For over a year, I have been teaching English online as a second language to Taiwanese and Chinese students, both juniors and adults. Which became an interest whilst I was teaching sushi classes in London. I decided to advance onto teaching specifically English and conversational topics chosen by students, to further improve their overall English language. From education I gained a TEFL level 5 teaching qualification and a BSc (Hons) in Food and Consumer Management from Birmingham University. Which focused on live industry projects within the FMCG sector, nutrition and the business elements within the food industry. I enjoy cooking at home, particularly Japanese cuisine and seafood dishes that I learnt previously as a professional chef.

My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods. I look forward to helping all those who wish to practice and improve their English vocabulary, fluency and grammar with whatever else i can do to make those who wish to learn English feel more comfortable and confident. I have also been on a two week course in learning Tagalog as for a short period in my life i and my family was contacting and teaching those from the Philippines in my hometown in England. As you can see my lives training has not been focused on English teaching. Yet now it is and consequently i am trying my best to be the best teacher i can be. Last year I completed the International Baccalaureate, and have also taken GCSEs and IGCSEs. I studied all three of my subjects at IB level as well as at GCSE/IGCSE. I have also had tutoring experience from primary-GCSE level, with a preference for GCSE tutoring. I have also done courses on Autism, ADHD, and mental health and have taught people with SEND.
