Hello! I'm Sophie from Manchester and I teach Primary English and Spanish. I love teaching and I've been doing it for the past 3 years. My classes are fun, interactive and dynamic. I teach both children and adults and I love the variety. I can't wait to meet you 😀 I have experience teaching in both the UK and in Spain with students from 4 years old till 50 years old! I have worked for various different academies and tutoring companies. I have helped many of my students take the 11+ exams and interviews and they have been accepted to some of the best grammar schools.

I'm currently a veterinary medicine student at university, slated to graduate in 2030. I have two younger brothers and have always been one of those strange children who enjoyed going to school for the learning, not just the fun. Outside of education I am a knitter, a crocheter, a badminton player, and an avid creative writer. I was involved in Scouts for two years and was part of the National Honour Society in high school, a society for students in American high schools that select members based on four pillars: academics, character, service, and leadership. I enjoy explaining things and hope to ensure that my students gain a greater appreciation of the subject matter, but I will settle for getting them through their exams if that's all they want. I attended CAJ, an international high school in Japan that following the American curriculum. I took 10 AP subjects, which are slightly narrower in scope but no less thorough in depth than A levels, and scored 5s (highest score) in all but English language, where I scored a 3 (pass mark). The AP subjects I took were Japanese, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Physics 1, Physics 2, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Comprehension, and English Literature and Composition.

I am 21 years old and I am currently studying English Literature at Durham University. I absolutely love to travel and I am a qualified ski instructor and have done two seasons teaching in Canada and New Zealand. I am also a keen runner and I am currently training for a charitable half marathon. Additionally, I absolutely love literature! My favourite books are 'The Great Gatsby,' and 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' and 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.' I attended King's High School for Girls for my whole secondary education. I studied History, Geography and English Literature at A level during covid and received an A* in all three subjects. Following my A levels I took a gap year and I am now in my second year Studying English Literature at Durham University, and I am on track to achieve a first when I graduate next year.

As a student at the University of Oxford, I am passionate about learning and education, with the focus being on ensuring every tutee I have is able to realise and hence optimise their skills and talents. It is this passion for education that leads to individual success.

Hi, I'm Bethany! I'm from Ireland and I'm currently a college student studying Politics and French. I love doing anything creative like baking, knitting, and sewing. I've worked as a tutor for 6 years teaching Maths and English. I really like languages and I think the best way to learn them is by speaking and incorporating the things that interest you. I am currently studying in my second year of my PhD in Forensic Science. I have a BSc in Forensic Science and I have been teaching in schools for the last 6 months, as well as lecturing in colleges and universities for the last 2 years. I also tutor GCSE English for the local authority. I have 3 kids, 3, 9 and 15. I am a commercial drone pilot and work in search and rescue, alongside the police.
