Hi there! I'm Annie, university student currently completing my final year of Primary Education with QTS, with a huge passion for teaching. I am particularly experienced in teaching maths and English to children aged 5-11, and have taught across both the north east and west of England, also teaching English to children aged 5-14 in both north and south Italy, with a high level of knowledge in this subject as I have achieved GCSEs in both maths and English across AQA and Edexcel exam boards and A's in both English language and literature at A level qualification. I love travelling, teaching and playing piano! I am committed to providing a fun, friendly and engaging learning experience for children, always bringing a positive 'can do' attitude to every lesson.

As a current university student, I understand the challenges of academic work and exams. I have dual nationality with both USA and UK passports thanks to my English mother. When I was much younger I gained 5 "O" levels and 1 "A" level while living in Taunton, England. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.
