I am enthusiastic, positive and patient. I have a love for English Literature, and all the joys of reading, creativity and story telling which comes with it. Currently, I am immersed in my course at The University of Edinburgh, as I go into my third year. I have previously studied History of Art, History, Art and Theatre studies - which all allow for a different perspective on the world of Literature. I have excellent IGCSE results (9 A*s and 1 A), and A level results (A*,A*,B), with an Academic scholarship and Art scholarship. Having taught such a range of year groups, I have a lot of experience in adapting my teaching style, including the use of a variety of exercises and resources to engage my students.

Hi! I am a recent Law and Politics graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I grew up in Pakistan but then moved to London for my studies. I am passionate about any subject that allows critical thinking. I enjoyed public speaking while at school and university as it allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge and be analytical. ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style.
