As a current university student, I understand the challenges of academic work and exams. I am currently a student of the Dual BA Program between Trinity College Dublin and Columbia University meaning I am working on two BA degrees (one from each institution) simultaneously over four years. Both degrees are in English Literature but I hope to minor in History of Art for my Columbia degree.

I am Faruq Ishola, a 30 year old Nigerian currently studying and living in Northampton, Northamptonshire, UK. I am Male and practise Islamic religion, hence the origin of my first name. I had my primary school education in St. Mary's private school, Lagos, Nigeria. I also had my secondary education in Nigeria. At University level, I majored in BSc. Medicine in Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University in Lviv, Ukraine. I am currently studying Masters in Public Health in the University of Northampton. I had always dreamed of becoming a doctor as a child but had difficulties in transitioning to the Science classes in my secondary education. My parent employed a tutor that entirely changed my course, this is why I remain passionate about how important the role of a tutor can be.

I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students. Although I appear to be very busy, I really enjoy tutoring and put in the extra time not only to make lesson time but also in preparation and post lesson review time to make the most of each lesson Straight A*/As student at GCSE and A Level including English, Maths, History Received first class Honours in History and Politics in my History and Politics Degree from Warwick University Beginning my History MA at Warwick University in October 2024 Also completing additional courses in Maths, Economics and Computing/Coding with Harvard Online Courses.

I have dual nationality with both USA and UK passports thanks to my English mother. When I was much younger I gained 5 "O" levels and 1 "A" level while living in Taunton, England. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.

I love to meet other people and learn from their cultures...the world is a wonderful and diverse place and each of us have a purpose...I feel passionate about empowering people to reach their goals. Learning English is a wonderful communicative bridge. My teaching focus is adult learning with a range of CEFR level English A2 - C2. I especially encourage conversational English, focusing on the learner's environment (occupation, hobbies etc.) I have a Law degree, a Master's degree in Development and Management as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration. I am also a certified Life Coach and have been teaching at a tertiary institution for a number of years after practicing as an attorney. I have a Level 5 TEFL diploma and enjoy every moment of teaching English.

Hi, I’m Anna Montclaire, an energetic and passionate Science teacher! I love helping students explore literature and language in fun, creative ways. My goal is to make learning exciting through lively discussions, role-playing, and multimedia projects, sparking curiosity and confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime and jogging every morning, which keeps me energized and inspired throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Agricultural Chemistry. My studies provided a strong foundation in teaching methods, linguistics, and literature. I learned to plan engaging lessons, manage classrooms effectively, and adapt my teaching to different learning styles, making sure every student feels encouraged and empowered.

I am enthusiastic, positive and patient. I have a love for English Literature, and all the joys of reading, creativity and story telling which comes with it. Currently, I am immersed in my course at The University of Edinburgh, as I go into my third year. I have previously studied History of Art, History, Art and Theatre studies - which all allow for a different perspective on the world of Literature. I have excellent IGCSE results (9 A*s and 1 A), and A level results (A*,A*,B), with an Academic scholarship and Art scholarship.
