I'm a full time final year forensic psychology student at the University of Portsmouth, with tutoring as a part-time job I achieved a grade 7 in English Language, 8 in English Literature, and 5 in higher Maths. I also achieved grade 7 across all sciences. My hobbies are reading, being creative, and learning new skills. I started tutoring because I want to help other children progress in their learning and reach their full potential while being the helpful face I wish I had at their age! Hi, I am a first year law student at the University of Warwick. I have a strong passion for humans which led me to pursue law as a degree. I thoroughly enjoyed studying psychology during A Levels and have developed a deep passion for the subject. After 20 years of secondary school classroom teaching in English and History, I am branching out into online teaching. I taught in London, at Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and have since taught in South Africa, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I run Parkrun, grow and sell organic vegetables, and enjoy wilderness walking. After A Bachelor of Arts in History and English, at Wits University in Johannesburg in 1984, I did a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Education, in English and History. I then taught in London and South Africa for nine years, during which time I qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Applied Linguistics, from Wits University. In 1998, my family and I went to Vancouver, British Columbia, for me to study a Masters Degree in Theology. We returned to SA in 2002. In 2016, I graduated with a PhD in History, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled for my TTA TEFL certificate, Level 5, to qualify and teach EFL, from April 2025.
