Hi there! My name is Kevin and I am an English and Irish teacher who recently moved to London to pursue an MA in Theatre Directing. I have been teaching several students both subjects over the past 2 years to great success. I have experience teaching English and Irish to all levels, History to GCSE standard and Performing Arts up to third level. I love seeing students find a passion for a subject they have written off as being too difficult or obscure. I am approachable, friendly and love the subjects I teach. I am currently training to become an English teacher, having gained extensive experience working with pupils with a wide range of needs—including SEN, EAL, and behavioural challenges—through previous roles as a tutor and SEN Teaching Assistant. Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. I then went on to study Spanish and French at the university of Stirling. After spending time teaching English in France and Spain, I did my PGCE training in Liverpool.
