Hi I’m Mahnoor! I am a qualified English teacher with years of experience both in tutoring and school teaching. I’ve studied a wide range of subjects from a young age! I did my Undergraduate bachelor degree in Law (LLB) and then went on to complete my Postgraduate Masters in Law (LLM) too. After some experience in the legal sector I realised I wanted to go towards a career in teaching as that’s what I’ve always loved the most! That led me to complete my teaching qualification (PGCE) where I additionally specialised in English and worked with primary and secondary school GCSE students. Along with teaching a variety of subjects, I aim to work with students professionally and motivate them to discuss career opportunities and specialisms. Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices.
