Hi! My name is Anushka Thomas and I am a second year Biomedical Science BSc Student at King's College London. I am specialising in Immunology and Infectious Disease and am particularly interested in drug discovery and public health. I am really passionate about studying and communicating science in a clear and engaging way! Attended Northampton High School (GDST) where I obtained 99998 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English language and Maths. I then went on to complete A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have completed Year 1 of my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science where I studied the following modules: Anatomy, Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, Chemistry and Pharmacology. In my second year I plan to specialise in Immunology and Infectious disease where I will be studying modules such as Cancer Cell Biology, Drug Discovery and Development as well as Medical Microbiology. Having spent the last 5 years undergoing rigorous examinations, university entrances as well as having to grasp vast amounts of difficult scientific content, I believe I am well-equipped to help others in similar positions.

My name is Ash and I love tutoring students and showing them ways through which they can not only become a confident learner, but also a confident person overall. I believe that learning should not always be serious and so I tend to make learning interesting for my students at all times. My previous students have said that they never notice the time go whilst learning with me. I enjoy baking, singing, swimming and travelling. I am an Aerothermal - Aerodynamics methods engineer for Rolls Royce Defence Aerospace and I work on solving complex equations and technology methods to accelerate future of high speed and space travel. I am graduate from imperial college London in advanced aeronautics, I am involved heavily in advanced mathematics and physics. I have tutored in further maths and maths for all exam boards and physics, including a programming tutorials society I used to carry out in university to help students expand on coding and solve problems instantly. I graduated from imperial college London in October 2021 and soon later joined graduate programme with Rolls Royce engineering and technology regime. I developed myself into a leading researcher and developer role where I flourished in making significant contributions to turbomachinary gas path Aerothermodynamics. I have tutored as part time as a self improvement and hobbie to learn and help pursue dreams of people to take their learning step further and pursue stem.
