I have taught over 2700 sessions with Go Student and have been working on the plafrom for 4 years. Subjects : English, History, Religious Studies, Geography, Arts and Photography KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE. My name is Alicia and I'm 28 from Berkshire. I am delighted to be teaching English, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Arts and Photography for Go Student. I am a Masters graduate and a passionate educator. I studied a Bachelor of Arts and since I have three years of experience working as a visiting practitioner/lecturer for BA students as alumni at my university. I also worked or Role Models as a course leader teaching life skills to children aged 3-15 across the world. I believe that every child is a different type of learner and their academic and personal growth is best when they nurture their individual passions. They are capable of learning anything , they simply need to be given the tools and skills to pursue it. Therefore it is vital for children to have dedicated mentors who support them through the different stages of their journey. I am passionate about demonstrating and encouraging students to explore, discover, and cultivate their strengths both academically and creatively. I am a Masters graduate and I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and publishing . Since graduating I have had four years of experience working as an online tutor as well as working as alumni and a practitioner for first and second year BA students.

Hello, my name is Scarlett. I am in my second year of studying Law at the University of Leeds. I grew up overseas and did my GCSEs and A Levels in Abu Dhabi. I took Geography, History and English Literature at A Level at a British School. I love these subjects and would thoroughly enjoy helping others learn. I attended The British School Al Khubairat for the majority of my schooling and completed my GCSEs and A Levels there. I am currently in my second year of studying Law at the University of Leeds. I have a Sports Leadership Qualification that allows me to teach/look after children unsupervised, which is something I do in my part-time job(that I have had for three years now). I especially enjoy English Literature, Geography and History as I love essay writing and the subjects themselves, particularly English as I enjoy reading.

Last year I completed the International Baccalaureate, and have also taken GCSEs and IGCSEs. I studied all three of my subjects at IB level as well as at GCSE/IGCSE. I have also had tutoring experience from primary-GCSE level, with a preference for GCSE tutoring. I have also done courses on Autism, ADHD, and mental health and have taught people with SEND. I am also indifferent to the age of my students but would prefer to teach at GCSE level. Personally, I would describe myself as open-minded, kind, and caring and would also say that I am a nerd! I adore all things Star Wars, Harry Potter, and also love animals. I've had experience tutoring students at GCSE level for a variety of different subjects. I have also done work experience and volunteering at local state and private schools, particularly at primary-GCSE levels. My personal academic achievements include: Ten 9s and One 8 at GCSE/IGCSE Three 7s (A*s) at IB Three 6s (A*/A) at IB

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.
