I am from London and a student who loves to read and write on my blog. I'm also passionate about the personal and educational growth of young people, especially tackling social inequality through tutoring. I feel it is important to build a strong rapport with students whilst delivering subject knowledge in a way that is fun, effective and inspiring I went to King Alfreds School and completed my Alevels in History (A*), Sociology (A) and Art (B). My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. Hello, my name is Scarlett. I am in my second year of studying Law at the University of Leeds. I grew up overseas and did my GCSEs and A Levels in Abu Dhabi. I took Geography, History and English Literature at A Level at a British School. I love these subjects and would thoroughly enjoy helping others learn. I attended The British School Al Khubairat for the majority of my schooling and completed my GCSEs and A Levels there. I am currently in my second year of studying Law at the University of Leeds. I have a Sports Leadership Qualification that allows me to teach/look after children unsupervised, which is something I do in my part-time job(that I have had for three years now). I especially enjoy English Literature, Geography and History as I love essay writing and the subjects themselves, particularly English as I enjoy reading.

Hi there, I'm a medical student at the University of York. I enjoy playing sports, especially football and am a Man Utd fan. I love reading and teaching and teach from primary school level, through secondary school and all the way up to A-level for certain subjects. Hi there, In my GCSEs, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8. I then studied four A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, achieving 2A*s and 2As. In between, I also sat BMAT and UCAT medical entrance exams in which I achieved a score of 3000.

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I’m currently a University student at the University of York and I’m working towards becoming a teacher! I love reading, science, pop culture, travelling and of course history!
