I then attended the University of Exeter where I gained a Master's degree in civil and environmental engineering. I am also a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language having gained a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. After graduating I taught in a secondary school in Devon where I gave lessons in person and online during national lockdowns. I helped students recover lost learning due to the pandemic and on average the students I worked with exceeded their target grades by an average of more than 1 grade. Hi! My name is Oliver, but everyone calls me Ollie, and I have been studying Politics at the University of Warwick since September 2023. I did A-Levels in my home city of Liverpool. I love my subject and I love teaching children as I have done before working at Kumon. I play instruments with my favourite being the drum kit, and I love playing board games with people!
