Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests. I can cover KS3, GCSE and A-level content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I am currently studying medicine and hence still very familiar with many of the concepts from A-level Biology and Chemistry, as much of what I study stems from knowledge acquired from GCSE and A-level Sciences. In sixth form, I was a peer mentor and often had to help students struggling with their subjects, and so I have attained a plethora of knowledge on efficient methods to overcome revision and learning issues; furthermore, I am quite an active and independent learner and have trialled many different studying techniques in the past. Therefore, I can tailor my lessons to the tutee’s preferences, e.g., usage of more diagrams for visual learners and more verbal explanations for aural learners. I also had 39 units in masteral at the same school but unfortunately, I was not able to finish it because of giving birth to my first born. As tedious as studying can get, it is all the more important in today's day and age to make it more fun and enjoyable and I would like to do just that by including quizzes, games, power-points etc related to every topic especially the ones that are more difficult to understand, so as to follow a more modern approach to studying but also including tests and practice some equations or structures to test their knowledge. Hence, maintaining the traditional approach to studying. At the end of each lesson I will encourage the students to summarize what was taught and also practise active recall in the follow up classes in order to solidify their understanding as well as boosting their memory. I will also include mock tests in their lessons which will mimic the actual exams to prepare them better for the same. In my school years, I have experience with helping/ tutoring my fellow students who needed extra help. It has been one of my most prized achievements to watch them pass their exams with my help and guidance. Hello! :) My name is Cécile, I am twenty-five years of age and I possess a Bachelors Degree in Drama. I work full-time throughout the week; therefore, I enjoy assisting students with their studies, in the evenings. :) I started tutoring during my A-Levels (2016-2018), which then progressed to University and amazingly, up until present. A section of my degree concentrated on education (to which, I received a First) which inevitably led me, to continue with private tuition. I have been established on the GoStudent platform, since January 2022. In January 2024, I received my 500th lesson certificate. Up until today, I have delivered over 900 lessons on this platform, alone. Collectively, I have over nine years of tutoring experience but on a continuous basis, I will be hitting my four year anniversary, in January 2026. I teach the following subjects: Drama, English, History and French. Drama and English are both taught, up until Degree level. History is taught at both, GCSE & A-Level standard. French is taught either from Primary to GCSE standard or I do also teach the language to individuals, who are learning French, from scratch (I do also possess dual nationality).
