Hello! My name is Donna. I have lived and worked in different parts of England, Wales and Scotland at various times. I teach English and Humanities subjects remotely, and have done so for over 5 years; although I have worked within an educational environment for more than 15 years. Throughout this time it has been a real privilege to help students progress and reach their full potential. I personally love learning and reading, and get excited about exchanging new ideas and thoughts with my students. I hold a Bachelors Degree in teaching English Education, with TESOL as my major and Primary School Education as my minor. I am also finalising a BA History with Honours degree as a second degree through The Open University. I have always had a fascination with History, especially ancient history and archaeology. I have supported KS1 to KS4 students in Humanities subjects; such as Geography and History, as well as Science, and English. Along with this I have assisted and guided students while they prepare for their Functional Skills assessments and exams. Further, I also support ESL students with exam preparation. In the classroom, my goal has always been to inspire students so that they can gain confidence in their subjects. My classes are always fun and engaging. Students learn at different paces and in different ways so often need time to understand what they are learning. Therefore, I patiently use a variety of teaching materials to consolidate concepts, ideas and dates. These are then reinforced through in-class practice. Mini class quizzes identify areas for additional support, and exam preparation help students feel comfortable and better prepared when it comes to taking their all important exams and tests.

I tutor Maths, Physics and Further Maths A level, and Maths and Physics at GCSE. I had 3A*s at A level. I am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Bristol. This is a 3 year program. I love Maths and Physics because the elements can be applied to real life e.g. throwing a ball.

Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. With my lessons focusing on teaching based on the students' learning style, I hope to put those nerves at ease. Below is the list of subjects I teach and at which level.
