I’m a passionate Systems Application Engineer and full-stack developer with a background in Electrical Engineering and over three years of experience building software solutions. As a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at QMUL, I have always had a natural affinity and deep passion for numbers. I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. I’m Mahima, a second-year medical student at Aston University. I’m a friendly, patient and motivated person who really enjoys helping others learn and become more confident in themselves. I’ve always enjoyed Chemistry and Maths, and through tutoring my siblings and supporting friends during their A Levels, I’ve developed a real passion for teaching. Outside of studying, I enjoy doing mehndi, going on walks, visiting new cities and spending time with my family. I attended Nunnery Wood High School, where I completed my GCSEs in 2023. I achieved Grade 9s in Chemistry, Physics, Maths, English Literature, English Language, Geography, Business and Religious Studies alongside Grade 8s in Biology and French. During my time at school, I also completed six months of online medical work experience through Allied Healthcare Mentors. This gave me an insight into healthcare and helped me develop my communication, professionalism and understanding of the medical field. I then attended Worcester Sixth Form College, where I studied A Level Chemistry, Maths and Biology. I achieved A* grades in both Chemistry and Maths and an A in Biology in 2025. Chemistry and Maths were my strongest subjects, and I particularly enjoyed understanding complex concepts and applying them to exam-style questions rather than simply memorising information. During Year 12, I also took part in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, where I achieved a Bronze award. This allowed me to explore Chemistry beyond the A Level specification and develop my problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. I am now studying Medicine at Aston University.

Hello ! I'm Sadie, 19 and currently completing an undergraduate degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response in Manchester. I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping others build confidence in their academic abilities. I completed my secondary education in 2025, where I focused on Geography, Religious Studies and Chemistry, and have continued to develop my knowledge and passion for geography through my university course. I have experience supporting younger students with exam preparation, having taken part in a peer coaching scheme for 2 years whilst at school. Through this, I have learned the importance of patience, structure and encouragement in helping students succeed.
