Hello! :) My name is Cécile and I am twenty-five years of age. In 2021, I graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a Bachelors Degree in Drama and I am currently working full-time as an Insurance Consultant whilst also supporting students on their academic journeys (big highlight of the week)! :) I started my tutoring journey during my A-Level years (between 2016-2018). Despite this only being once a week, I started helping year seven or eights who were struggling with their English homework during my free periods. The tutoring then progressed to university where I did teaching modules alongside my degree (to which, I received a First grading) and started teaching English/French to private students, throughout the nearby Leicester area. I have been established on the GoStudent platform as a freelance tutor since the January of 2022 and on the 4th of January 2024, I received my 500th lesson certificate. I am a doctoral student in English Literature at the University of Lincoln, having completed my BA at Lincoln in 2019, and having completed my teacher training (PGCE) at the University of Hull. After this, I then began tutoring whilst I completed my MA in English Literature, graduating in 2022. I write both fiction and non-fiction work in my private life, being published online and in print, and I hope that I can share my love of the subject with you.
