My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Whether I'm doing cryptic crosswords or sudokus, I believe that challenging your brain is the most entertaining activity. I am currently attending Newcastle University studying Accounting and Finance. I completed my A-levels at King Edward VI School in Morpeth, where I achieved ABB. I completed my GCSEs at The Blyth Academy, where I achieved 5 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, and 2 grade 7s.

I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.

I went to school in Northern Ireland but have tutored in England, so I have experience with multiple exam boards, CCEA, AQA, and Edexcel in particular. I tutor Maths and Physics and am looking forward to sharing my interest in these subjects. I studied 5 subjects at A-Level, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and French, and achieved 4 A*s and 1 A. I study Physics at university, which has helped me get a better understanding on not only Physics at A Level, but also more mathematical subjects like mechanics, statistics, and the applications of pure mathematics. In my spare time, I like to play bass guitar!
