I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I can teach GCSE maths. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. I look forward to guiding you into achieve the academic potential you and I know you are capable of. I achieved 5 grades 9’s and 5 grade 8’s at GCSE, this includes: - A 9 in Maths and Chemistry - An 8 in Biology and Physics. My A-levels are as follows: - B in Biology - B in Chemistry. - B In Maths I am currently a first year Biomedical Science Student, and am teaching: - GCSE MATHS

I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development. I enjoy challenges, whether it’s in science, coding, or everyday life, and I find it really rewarding to figure things out. During lockdown, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s Cube, which was a fun way to test my patience and problem-solving skills. Beyond work, I love learning new things through reading and watching documentaries. Exploring different cultures is also something I’m really passionate about—I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different ways of life. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy helping others grow and develop their own skills. With a curious mind and a love for challenges, I’m always excited to take on new opportunities and share my knowledge with others. I attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels. After that, I pursued my passion for science by studying biochemistry at the University of Warwick. I dedicated myself to my studies and graduated with an upper second-class degree.

I'm currently in my second year of med school at Newcastle University, juggling my studies with a taste for adventure. Growing up bilingual (thanks to my English father and Italian mother), I've had the privilege of experiencing two vibrant cultures. Most of our family vacations revolve around my Italian heritage, which is something I truly cherish. When I'm not nose-deep in my medical textbooks, you can catch me kicking a football on the field or sweating it out at the gym. Staying active is a big deal for me. Plus, I'm all about exploring new avenues. This year, I decided to give bouldering a shot – it's quite hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it can be really good fun. Sports are woven into the fabric of my life, whether I'm the one playing or just an eager spectator. Whether it's the heart-pounding excitement of football, the strategic moves in tennis, or the lightning-speed action of F1, I'm hooked. As a tutor, I'm excited to bring my diverse background and interests to the table. Hi! My name is Yaseen and I am currently a second-year student at the University of Manchester and I am studying Mechatronic Engineering. I love this field of study because it is always evolving and progressing with the development of technology used in manufacturing electrical components and robots. My interest in STEM subjects began at secondary school where my teachers showed me the applications of STEM which led to the formation of a STEM club and my involvement as a STEM ambassador. I want to tutor students to give everyone the same opportunity and understanding of these subjects that I received from my teachers. I hope to spark the same curiosity and interest in you. During these sessions, you can expect full commitment and support from me, help with your school work or set homework, and topic-related sessions that have been chosen by you. Experience in tutoring, informally and on other platforms. The subjects I teach heavily relate to the Mechatronic Engineering course I am studying at the University of Manchester. -Grade 9 in GCSE Physics and Biology -Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and Chemistry -Grade A in A-Level Maths and Chemistry

I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. I have various hobbies and interests, including reading, going to the gym, and watching sports, so I believe I have a variety of things I can relate to my students on, in order to build and maintain a rapport with them.
