Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree. I was a Grammar School student having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels before I moved on to University. I am currently a Medical undergraduate student. For my GCSEs I achieved grade 9 in Math, Biology and Physics, grade 8 in Geography and Chemistry and grade 7 in both English literature, language, History and Spanish. For my A-Levels I achieved grade A for Biology and Chemistry. Towards my university admission process for medicine I took the UCAT test having achieved a score of 3060 placing me in the top 3% of UCAT test takers in the country for that year.

I have been teaching GCSE & A-Level Maths & Sciences for upwards of 5 years now. Taking complicated ideas and simplifying them down to simple, discrete, and graspable bite-sized chunks is my passion. Exam prep. & practice is what I specialize in. Having been through the med-school application process and exams, I have learned quite a bit about exam strategies. I am a final year medical student, studying to become a medical doctor. I completed 4 A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. Having achieved an A* at A level and a 1st Class degree in Modern History with Economics at A level, I have experience teaching a wide range of history GCSE and A Level topics. The topics I have the most experience is in: Nazi Germany, The Cold War, Medicine through time, Anglo Saxon and Norman England, 20th Century Russia (1894-1924) and Britain during the 17th century (1625-1701); given the wide scope of history modules I study at University, I have a broader understanding of history - especially modern history. In addition to this, I am qualified and able to teach AQA GCSE English Language/Literature - including texts such as the Inspector Calls, Power and Conflict (Poetry), and Macbeth/Romeo and Juliet to a high level given my success at GCSE and A Level for English.
