I am a well qualified Maths and Science tutor in a secondary school, and I prepare all different levels of students for their exams and class studies. I have a BSc degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and I worked in many engineering companies for many years prior to becoming a tutor. I am teaching KS2 and KS3 (GCSE) Maths and Science to any primary/secondary school students who may have difficulties in particular topics or in their exam preparations. My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions.
