I am a dedicated and passionate tutor who has experience for over 5 years in tutoring for SATS, GCSE and A-level students. I have an effective way of explaining key concepts clearly to student’s in an engaging and collaborative manner. My patience and experience allow me to adapt easily to the student’s needs. I tailor each lesson to the student’s specific needs who often have varying learning paces and styles. I am supportive, students are encouraged to ask questions, not only during lessons but throughout the week. Motivating students is essential and part of the learning journey by building their confidence and exploring their understanding. My main aim is to get students ready for exams through using my own structured techniques I used during my GCSEs and A-levels which helped me obtain grade A and A*. I currently have a mixture of students, with varying abilities between year 4 and year 13. I am currently studying Money, Banking, and Finance as a final-year student at the University of Birmingham. I've secured A* in Economics and Psychology, and an A in Maths at A-levels. Additionally, I attained all 7,8,9s in my GCSEs, showcasing excellence in subjects like Maths and Business Studies. I currently have a mix of students between year 4 and year 13.

Subjects I teach: I teach maths and French at a lower level, and GCSE, as well as further maths at GCSE level only and maths at A level. Exam board experience: I have experience with the AQA maths and further maths curricula, and for French I have experience with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and I used the AQA syllabus for my AS level. Languages: I speak french fluently and have done so since I was 5 years old. SEND experience: I do not have any experience with tutoring students with SEND. I was sometimes placed next to SEND students in lessons in year 9 because my teachers deemed me responsible and able to aid with their work if needed. Preferred student age groups: I enjoy teaching all age groups, but having had less experience with younger I am more familiar with older GCSE to A level students. About me: I was born in the UK but grew up in France from the age of 4, attending a french school for the whole 10 years I was there. This means that I speak the language fluently and achieved a French GCSE at 12 years old. I then moved back to England in 2017 and attended boarding school until the end of 6th form which was something I very much enjoyed. I came away with 13 GCSEs and 4 A levels. I now study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southampton. I am a vice-president of the motorsport society there and compete in both university and independent karting championships. I also play basketball and tennis twice a week and attend the gym regularly. I also enjoy playing the piano when I have time.
