I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. During this time, I completed a summer research project on modelling the permeability of carbon fibre preforms and my dissertation on numerical methods for solving stochastic differential equations. I got full marks in my A-level Maths and Further Maths, and over the course of my A-level studies I spent time at the University of Cambridge and the University of Manchester. Finally, I was a PhD research student at the University of Bath where I studied impact analysis as well as Bayesian Methods and Quantum Computing.

Hi, I'm Aya, an undergraduate student studying Finance! I love helping others, and find it so rewarding and gratifying being a part of students' academic journeys! I studied economics, French and maths at A level, which gave me a good mix of problem-solving, logical thinking and communication skills - all things that I use when supporting students. Outside of academia, I love to dance, and am captain of my university's competition team!
