My name is Jillian Rowe, and I am a passionate Mathematics Teacher who finds true joy in teaching. I love teaching because it deeply satisfies me to be part of my students’ success, and it is very rewarding to witness their growth and achievements. I teach Mathematics to learners of any age, and my mission is to make the subject more approachable and less intimidating. I also live by the belief of working hard until I reach success, a mindset I encourage my students to adopt as well. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading inspirational books, singing, jogging, and walking, which keep me motivated and balanced in both life and work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education, Major in Instructional Leadership, at Pangasinan State University, where I have consistently maintained excellent grades. Hi! My name is Rad and I study Medicine at the University of Leicester. I love teaching and working with people to tackle problems in creative ways, and simply passing down my knowledge I've accumulated over the years. That's why I've been involved in mentoring since the start of sixth form! I have achieved A*A*A* in my A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and 9s in my GCSEs for Maths and the Sciences respectively. Hi my name is Niamh I’m 22 and currently studying for my Masters in mechanical engineering. I love maths and physics and happy to help. I completed my A levels in maths physics and technology and got A*A*A. In my previous years of studying I have always received top marks and have covered all sorts of maths, science and engineering. I have two younger brothers who I have helped through their GCSE’s and A levels and they both received A* in maths and double award science I attended Mount Lourdes grammar school for girls where I Completed my GCSE’s and A-levels where I received all A’s and A*’s I am currently studying my masters in mechanical engineering in queens university Belfast. Hello! I'm Fintan, I'm a 2nd year student at Cardiff University studying Financial Mathematics (BSc) - Primarily a further development into the field of Maths, with some time spent learning about Corporate management and Investment Management. My teaching approach focuses on consolidating knowledge and encouraging critical thinking. To excel in A-Level Maths, it is important to not only know the content, but for it to feel like second nature, so that when it comes to higher level questions, you can identify and apply the methods confidently. I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. During my A Level studies, I obtained 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. It would be a pleasure to pass on both my knowledge and work ethic to my students, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
