Lower Level: Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry GSCE: Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry A-level: Math and Physics Higher Level: Math and Physics I have extensive experience in AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards. Languages: English (Bilingual Proficiency), Arabic (Native), French (Elementary Proficiency), Hungarian (Elementary Proficiency) Preferred student age group: Any Apart from Math and Physics, I like working on cars, doing calisthenics, and solving puzzles like the Rubik's cube. Hello! My name is Daher Salameh and I'm a mechanical engineer. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as an R&D engineer. I always had a passion for teaching and valued education a lot as it's our tool to build a better future for ourselves and keep moving forward as individuals and as a society. My area of expertise in teaching is mainly Math and Physics (but also taught other subjects) and I have more than 5 years of experience in this field. Throughout the years, I have learned to deliver concepts to students in ways they have never seen before — that I believe are interesting — which encourages them to learn. I always try to present the physical significance behind every concept, the intuition behind the formulas, and the relation of everything academic to its real life counterpart. I hope you'll learn from and enjoy my lessons because I certainly enjoy giving them!

Levels & subjects I teach: Junior Cert: Math and Science (Ordinary and Higher level) Biology only A-Levels: Biology only. GCSE: Science,Biology and Maths Exam Board experience: Irish Exam Boards. A-Levels GCSE SEND(Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: Children with autism and students that may have trouble focusing on tasks for any length of time without being easily distracted. Preferred student age group: All age groups. My name is Marian, I am a 6th-year medical student with a solid foundation in science. I am competent at tutoring pupils in the Irish educational system up to the Leaving Certificate. As a tutor, I've always felt driven to go above and beyond the curriculum's standards to make sure the student thoroughly understands the material. In order to assist the students, I want to first earn their trust by showing them that I have their best interests at heart. I then want to work really hard with them, urge them to give their all, and ensure that they remain motivated throughout. In my classes, I make sure that the lesson is first clearly explained to the students, beginning with the basics and making sure they understand it. From there, I build on that knowledge but most importantly, a foundation should be built. Finally, I give the student an opportunity to explain back to me and switch roles, pretending to be the teacher and teaching me what was learned. The pupils will be offered enjoyable quizzes or games related to the topics taught to help them relax and stop feeling like learning something new is a chore in order to better reinforce the knowledge they have already acquired. The subjects won't be covered only once. It will be explained in class and then summarized at the end. The first few minutes of the following lesson will be used to review what was previously taught. The third time will follow a few weeks later to help with memory recall. There will also be constant reference to earlier lessons if the topics are connected. I have a thorough understanding of the Irish leaving certificate curriculum, not just because I went through it myself, but also because of my experience tutoring students of all ages, particularly junior and leaving certificate students for the past four years. As a result, I have knowledge of the subjects and crucial exam tips, specifically by going over past exam papers with students. Any kid I have taught has experienced a significant increase in their grades from the beginning of the year to the end. I anticipate at least a two-grade improvement for every student who works with me. whenever I provide tests. To give students a realistic rating, I do my best to grade them in accordance with the standards of the junior/leaving certificate. Throughout the classes, these marking criteria will be applied to identify improvements that are also realistic. Because I am very organized in terms of what is required for the lesson and all the materials that will be utilized, delivering tutoring online has never been an issue for me or my pupils. I make an effort to keep the experience as similar as possible to in-person tuition. I will stay in touch with the parents on a regular basis to address any worries they might have, any observations I might have about the student, and to keep them informed about the classes.

I am a maths/statistics tutor and data engineer with over ten years of teaching experience. Academic background: - Sussex University - PhD Hirschfeld scholar; pass with minor corrections - Sussex University - 1st class honours MMath degree I`ve spent 6 years in industry working in the data tech industry. I apply maths and technical skills to solve data engineering problems, as well as conduct technical training work alongside for work colleagues. I work closely with data engineering technologies like Python and SQL. What to Expect From Lessons: Lessons are delivered in 50 minute batches. They consist of breaking down complex theoretical concepts into simplified components followed by examples and exam problems to solidify understanding of the topic. I encourage the student to explore the concepts themselves with me prompting them rather than just writing out a formulae. I focus on sharing deep mathematical insights with my student. This is a skill I refined as a PhD student. I aim to make lessons interactive and goal-oriented. I combine this with reinforcing their knowledge of theoretical concepts throughout the lesson. Please enquire if you have a topic/subject request not listed here. I have a valid DBS check. Testimonies: "George is very helpful, knowledgeable and makes difficult topics easy to understand. Luckily, I had George to tutor me. His tutoring style was extremely effective, we would discuss beforehand what I wanted to go over, and I would send him any relevant documents from my lectures about things I was not understanding, and he would prepare explanations and worked through examples, and then we would go over similar examples together. We dealt with a wide range of mathematical problems, such as integration by parts, various methods of solving differential equations and comparative static analysis, and all of these topics were handled extremely well and taught excellently. George is punctual and shows a great deal of preparatory work before any lessons, and is then extremely effective at communicating and explaining complicated ideas. He is very knowledgeable and works extremely hard on each lesson. I would highly recommend George for anyone who needs maths help, regardless of the exact subject that you are studying." - University undergraduate, unknown date "Great tutor! I am a third-year Mathematics and Physics student at The University of Manchester. During my school years, I have been looking for experiences that could develop me as a human being and this is how I came across tutoring. My first such opportunity tutoring them in the subjects they had difficulty with by explaining core concepts, which helped me develop patience and adaptability. Working with children was not without its hurdles, but I used all my abilities to stir their interest. What was truly rewarding were their smiles and the strong bond that we created. I cherished every single moment with the children, especially the instant they understood the exercises. My experience attests to my ability to tutor young people in the subject of Mathematics. I want to be a tutor because I feel that through this I can change things, starting with the young generation: I can help them discover a passion for Mathematics, I can cheer them up whenever they need help and I can be their friendly and trustful tutor when they do not know how to solve a problem. At the moment I am teaching GCSE students and I am familiar with most exam boards. My three-year experience helps me assess quickly the level of every student and this leads to a quick lesson plan for a successful exam.

Hi! My name is Haleemah and I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical science at university. As someone who was once a student, reaching for help in areas which I struggled with in my subjects was always a challenge. Now I have the opportunity to support fellow students in a matter which would hopefully make them feel more confident in areas they find difficult or concepts they find hard to grasp. I teach primary maths, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and I also teach A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Since, I have already completed my GCSE's and A levels after 2017, my knowledge of the new curriculum is automatically up to date, and in addition to also doing a range of exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL, and OCR, my knowledge of exam boards and their method of examining is thorough as well. In my free time, I enjoy baking and cooking, even though sometimes my bakes may not turn out well, but I never give up! I want students to have a tutor who listens to them and puts in the hard work so that they can succeed. I hope you find that I am that tutor! Currently at University studying Biomedical science (BSc). A-Levels: Mathematics (B), Chemistry (B), and Biology (C). GCSEs: Biology (8), Chemistry (9), Physics (8), Mathematics (9), English language (8), English literature (8), Computer science (7), Religious education (8), Citizenship (7), Geography (7), and French (5).

I first started looking into learning Spanish as a hobby but never really took the leap to find a tutor or find one that would fit into my flexibility needs with working full time. GoStudent popped up and they were so helpful in helping me find a tutor that would fit around my needs and goals with learning a new language. Aoife, my tutor is lovely and patient. She’s been really supportive so far, helping me develop on my pronunciation. The only part to take into consideration is, it is a commitment and is at a cost which might not suit everyone. However, if your serious and want to develop with support I’d highly recommend GoStudent to anyone that’s thinking of taking the jump to learn a new language.
